.:Josh:.
Josh stands at the airport, his suitcase in as his best friend stands behind him. Both have tears rolling down their cheeks.
It's for the best.
It's time to move on with life and forget about everything that has happened.
"Josh? Are you sure you want to do this? I'll miss you.." his best friend cried, wrapping his small arms around his waist, bringing him into a tight hug which he returns.
"It's for the best.." he says quietly as tears roll down his pale white skin "I need to do this.. I need to get away.. I need to get away from him and our past.. he's already gone.. I know it.."
Josh hates that he's doing this but Tyler's long gone and he knows it. He needs to be away from this place, he can't be with the one he loves and it's all his fault.
If only he didn't push him away that night then maybe non of this would have happened and be happening.
"You don't know that Josh.. he could wake up," he says, looking up at him with tear filled eyes.
He only shook his head, hugging her tighter "He's been in there far too long.. they're going to let him go I know it.. I know I should be there for when it happens but I just can't.. I can't handle the heart break.."
Josh pulls away from the hug to wipe away the many tears that have fell from his eyes. All he has done was cry and cry and cry. It's all he can do.
"You'll come visit me though.. won't you?" He asks with a small sad smile on his face.
"I will, I promise Joshie," she says using the old nickname she used to call him.
This only made him burst out crying even more, he wrapped his arms around his best friend once more as he lets out sad cries from pain and heartache but also the fact that he will be leaving his best friend.
"Flight 296 to Paris, boarding in five minutes," the woman on the speaker says.
"I guess this is goodbye.."
"Not forever just for now.. I love you and please come visit me," Josh says as he pulls away from the hug.
"I will, see you later?" She says sadly.
"Yeah, see you later."
Josh picks up his bag and walks off to board his plane not once looking back, knowing if he does he'll only stay and he can't do that.
He goes through all the procedures before he finally gets on the plane, he takes his seat by the window, sticking his headphones into his ears.
About half an hour later the flight is taking off.
Don't Look Back in Anger by Oasis comes on his playlist only setting the boy off in more floods of tears.
"'But don't look back in anger, don't look back in anger,' I heard you say, 'at least not today.'"
The last lines of the song sang. His head, leaned against the window as he watches the place he pretty much grew up in soon disappear into thin air.
"I love you, Tyler," is the last thing Josh says as he shuts his eyes.
