Zeus' Pov

When we arrived, I had to sleep with Adam.

He pulled out a mat and blankets. I stretch my legs, listening to my bones pop with age. He looks at me, then starts praying.

I text my dad about everything then text Ajax.

You're welcome. Are you safe? - Ajax.

Yeah, for the moment. How are you?  - Zeus.

We're in Jamaica . We're only here because we have no ties to the Caribbean - Ajax.

This is Amber, I'm typing for Ajax because the letters are starting to flip for him. He says he misses you a lot. We love you - Ajax.

I turn to Adam, who's staring at me.

"It's your family. I can't express how apologetic I am for that."

"It's fine. I was an ass to them for so long."

Adam cocks his and takes the envelope, reading it.

"That's my baby brother. He's always had growth and development issues along with dyslexia, " I pause. "It means so much to me that he took the time to write that letter knowing he struggled ... He thinks I'm Superman."

I put my head in my hands.

"Why Superman?" Adam asks.

I exhale. "He was molested and I protected him. His twin sister , Amber , thinks I'm Superman too because I saved her from getting bullied."

"Wow," Adam says. "I wish my brothers cared about me. They don't support me because I'm ... different. I was always bullied and abused by them. I can't be myself here and I'm usually too level headed. The thing is, I'm not the stereotypical Middle Eastern Muslim terrorist out to destroy America. I have dreams. I want to go to a university and pursue a career in something. Make a better life. Get away."

I nod. "I'm sorry for that."

He nods and lays on the mat. "Take my bed."

"I can't do that."

He waves me off.

I lay down in the bed. I close my eyes.

"What do you mean that's not Ares' kid?!" Abraham says.

I open my eyes. Ares isn't my dad?
