Hate me

"Wake up, wake up ya Sneak!" Those were a few words I heard waking up followed by a kick to the gut by yours truly, Cole Becker.

"Huh? Oh, how was the show?" I asked, waking up.

"Help us load our stuff, Sneak, " he replied, I guess Sneak is my nickname now.

I went out of the van and grabbed a guitar case that Joey was holing and walked over to put it near the beds, I looked around and outside and asked,

"Anything else?"

"Nope, that's it," Cole replied.

"Tacos!" Joey yelled, "Tacos, tacos, tacos ta-"

"Okay Joey," Max said, "Let's get some tacos."

He sat on the seat of the table and bounced up and down in it. I went to Bailey who looked tired and asked,

"How was the show."

"Meh, it was alright."

"Tell the truth."

"It was awesome! Other than helping the roadies like Jamie over there, the other guitar guy Nick, they're nice but lifting stuff is exhausting. Hey Nick, Jamie," Baily called.

Two guys around our age waved at us, Jamie having dark hair and a beard while Nick was a blondish dude in his late 20s.

"They keep mostly to themselves as far as I know. The crowd was crazy, I did a stage dive, and Max did a crazy guitar solo," and Bailey got on the table and imitated the solo as extra as possible followed by Max who re-enacted said solo until Cole yelled,

"Get off the table, ass face!" leading Bailey to get off the table and say,

"Sorry, but yeah the concert was great, sorry."

"Oh, it's an honor to be here, plus Tacos!"

"Tacos!" Joey yelled.

"Tacos!" Seb yelled.

"Tacos," Max said, in a calm tone.

The van finally pulled up to the restaurant.

Cole got off first and I last into the Taco Bell.

"Hey," I started, "Didn't you guys do a commercial for Taco Bell?"

"Oh hell yeah," Seb said, "It was fire. "

"Oh Cole Bailey and I just want two tacos, one burrito and a medium soda, that cool?" He just glared at me like I asked him if I could run over his cat and kept on walking.

As we entered the nearly empty Taco Bell, Joey ran to a seat while everybody else but Cole walked over while he was getting a meal.

I looked around in the almost empty restaurant seeing we were the only few people here besides an old lady and a friend of hers. As Cole walked over with a tray of tacos and burritos everyone grabbed their stuff but I seemed to not see mine, nor could Bailey. We both exchanged faces of confusion before asking

"Um Cole, heh, heh, where's our food?"

"You can't afford it! I highly doubt you have any money."

"Well I have some on me and Bailey has a lot. Just go to an ATM, Bail."

Cole again glared at us until he said, "Have what's left of our food, and by the way at the hotel, since you two weren't part of the budget, you'll have to sleep on the floor or bathtub, or if you're lucky couch."

I looked at Bailey and exchanged looks that stated, 'I hate this guy' because damn he was nicer backstage in Boston.

"Uhhhh, hey you can have the rest of this taco," Seb said, handing me an uneaten taco.

"Oh yeah and Bailey, have my burrito, yours truly," Joey said to Bailey.

"And you can have the rest of my Pepsi if you want, " Nick offered.

"Thanks," we said.

"Let's take a selfie ma' dudes, " Joey said.

They all took a selfie together and Bailey tried to but in but, Cole shouted, for the whole world to hear,

"Not you, ya' weirdo, get back! "

It's understandable since it would be strange to put us, strangers, in a picture to post on Instagram, but Cole doesn't need to be a bitch about it. After eating our food we walked to the nearby 3-star hotel and when checking in Cole for filled his promise. Bailey slept with Stove and Buddha, Nick and Jamie, being besties, slept with each other, I slept on a chair in the room of Seb and Joey since Cole nor Max wanted nothing to do with us. The next day we went down to the lobby, got a quick breakfast while seeing Seb and Joey have a mini knife fight (Joey won) and got in the van.

I asked Cole, to try and warm up to him, "The next stop is somewhere exciting, right?"

"It's Newark so make of that if you will."

Even though I felt it in every bone in my body he hated me, I really liked him still. Maybe it's seeing him perform, that cute face, the way he talks about music, politics, his family, or anything, I still really liked him.

I when gotten the chance, I whispered to Bailey, "Hey is it just me, or does Cole seem to-"

"Hate us, loathe us, despise our very existence. I noticed, but I can't blame him. We're treated like dogs and the only thing that is stopping me from running back to Boston is the sights, the story I'll tell, not having a job, and Joey who seems really tight."

"Joey is kind of cool to us."

"Yeah," Bailey added, "And cute."

I held my hand over my mouth to stop from smiling and squealing too loudly.

"You like-"

"Shhh, he might hear you."

"Okay Bail," I smirked.

We continued to play paddy cake until we reached the spot in Newark another show I can't go to. Cole gave me another mini-lecture (he's such a mom) and I liked the group selfie from before on Instagram and waited like I did last time. When the door opened I only saw Seb.

"Seb, umm aren't you supposed to be performing?"

"Shows over and they decided to go clubbing, but I have a headache and figured I'd take it easy with you."

I was stunned to hear that but flattered.

"OK cool, chilling with Seb-dude."

"Yeah chilling with a cool villain," he laughed.
