Chapter 8

Clockwork's POV**************

The next day I woke up with Toby. Last night he ask me to go on a date with him! He saids he likes me, I mean I like him too. So obviously I said yes, so since it is a Saturday it's the perfect day to get out. Toby was still asleep he looks so cute asleep. His messy hair and he does twitch once and a while but I like him like that. My clock remains me of his ticks, but I don't like him for that. I like him because well, he treats me right. I just kept looking at him and I smiled. I held him closer and put my leg on top of his, I dig my face into his chest. He was so warm, then I felt his arm wrap around my waist.

Then I looked up and he was awake, he smiled. "Well s-someone is t-trying to get comfortable I s-see" he said. I blushed "I guess you can say that'' I said laying my head on his chest listening to his heart beat. "So you ready for that date?" I asked, he chuckled "yeah if y-you g-get ready soon" he said. "But I like laying down with you" I said in a childish voice. He laughed and stroked my hair "It's ok t-take your t-time" he said. "Nah your right we should get ready" I said then got out of bed. I looked at Toby "Are we going somewhere fancy?" I asked, he blushed and rubbed his neck. "Ummm w-well *twitch* it w-was a l-last m-minute t-thing" he said. I smiled "it's ok we can just can to the park or something. And besides we don't want to be suspicious" I said.

I got my clothes and walked to the bathroom to change. I just put on a tank top,sweater, and jeans nothing fancy. Then I brushed my hair and teeth and went downstairs. Everyone was of course doing their own thing, then Jane walked up to me. "Hey your up late" she said, then I looked at the time 12:37pm. "Oh well maybe I had a long night" I said. Jane snickered "Ok I believe you but anyways nice singing and I didn't know you can play the violin." She said. "Hey can I talk to you in private" I asked, "Sure" she said then we went to her room. Once we got to her room I sat on her bed smiling. I couldn't help myself always thinking about Toby. ''So what are you gonna tell me?" Jane asked.

I blushed "Well you got to promise not to tell anyone!" I said. She giggled "Ok ok what is it!?" She asked. "So last night Toby told me he l-like me. And umm I told him I like him too so he's taking me out on a date today" I said. Jane was speechless "WOW I'm so happy for you!" She said, then she walked over to me and sat down. "Are you ready?" She asked, I nodded "Yeah I think he's waiting for me" I said. "Wait we're are you guys going?" She asked, ''Just for a walk maybe to the park" I said then exit out her door. I went downstairs to find Toby by the door. He smiled "Ready?" He asked, I nodded.

Toby's POV****************
*minutes before leaving*
Clocky went to get dressed, hopefully one day we can change in the same room together. God I'm getting ahead of myself anyways I got dressed in my regular clothes. Then I went downstairs, I went up to Masky cause I need to tell him. "Hey Masky?" I asked, he looked up from his newspaper he was reader. "Yes what is it?" He asked, I twitch "Can we t-talk in p-private?" I asked. He nodded then got up and we went to his room. "So what is it?!" He asked, ''Ok, I told C-Clocky I l-like h-her and asked her t-to g-go on a d-date t-today. Like r-right n-now!" I said. "Ok then, well good luck" he said, "I think she's d-downstairs I got to g-go. And Masky d-don't tell a-anyone" I said then ran out the door. I went downstairs by the door to wait for Clocky, I was kinda nervous. Then she came downstairs.

"Ready?" She asked, I twitch "Y-yeah" I responded then we left. We began to walk further from the mansion I couldn't just stop looking at Clocky. She's so beautiful "So do you want to go to the park?" She asked. "Uh um s-sure, anything f-for you" I said, she smiled. "So what were you like?" She asked, I was confused "What d-do you m-mean?" I asked. "You know what were you like before you began a killer?" She asked. I mean I don't mind answering this question actually. I don't like talking about my past but with Clocky I think I should, she makes me feel comfortable when talking about my past. "Umm I didn't h-have f-friends, I j-just stayed I-inside a-all day. I w-was homeschooled since elementary s-school. I just c-couldn't go to a n-normal s-school. I got p-pick on a lot." I said. "Wow I sorry I didn't mean-" I cut her off "NO it's f-fine I feel c-comfortable taking about t-this w-with *twitch* you" I said.
