Chapter 27

Three days later....

Clockwork's POV*********

It's been three days since Toby was gone, I miss him. Sleeping alone isn't the best thing, and waking up to nothing isn't either. My birthday is coming up actually and I've been thinking, for my birthday I want...I think. I'm ready to have sex, its been a year and a month now since I've been dating Toby. And I bet he's ready to do it too, I think he's been ready. I'm the one who hasn't, I signed and walked downstairs. I want to talk to Jane I think she'll know what to do. As I got downstairs I found Jane on the couch watching Ben playing his games. "Jane?!" I said to get her attention, she turned her head and looked at me. "Oh hey what's up?" She asked, "Ummm can I talk to you? In private please?" I asked tugging my sleeve.

She nodded and walked towards me, then we walked upstairs to her room. She shut the door as I sat on her bed, then she sat next to me. "Now what is it?" She asked, my faced was all red from embarrassment. "What's wrong Clock?" She asked, I took a deep breath. "L-look since my birthday is coming, I think I'm ready to. Ummm I want to have sex with Toby" I said. Her eyes were wide open in shocked, "Oh I really don't have anything to say about that. It's your choice, but remember I'll support you." She said. I smiled then hugged her "Thank you" I said, "No problem" she said. "So when are you gonna do it?" She asked, "I want to do it soon, I was thinking to do it on my birthday. But I feel like it should be soon." I said. "Well take your time and don't rush yourself'' she said, I nodded. "I know, but thanks for listing" I said.

"Your welcome anytime" she said, then I left her room. I walked downstairs and went in the front yard, I saw the leafs blow in the wind. The cold autumn breeze felt really nice, I began to walk away from the mansion. I continue to walk and then I ended up by a park luckily no ones there. I sat on the swings, I signed. Hopefully Toby is all right, sometimes he worries me. I don't want him to get hurt, I cant stand him get hurt. I kill people, I rip out their guts and stab them over and over again. And that doesn't even disgust me, but if I see Toby get hurt then it disgusts me. It was quite the only sound there was, was the ticking of my clock. Then I start to think, how did I find this clock. Then I remember...

Flash back~Clockwork's POV

''MOM, MOM, MOM!" I yelled over and over again banging on the door. No one answer, they never do. My dad beat me again, because he was drunk. He has beaten me to the point I was bleeding, then he dragged me into the basement. He threw me into a closet, I was alone and scared. Just being ten years old anyone would be. I stopped bagging on the door as I knew no one would answer me. I sat down and cried, until I heard ticking of a clock. I followed the sound till I felt a round object. I picked it up and saw that it was a clock, tick tick. It was speaking to me for some reason.

"Time is what did this to me" I said, "Time is the reason, I'm suffering through it." I said. Then I heard someone come downstairs. I back away from the door, as it slowly open. "Natalie what are you doing down here?" My mom asked. Then she grabbed me by my hand and pulled me up. I still had had the clock in my right hand, "Come on it's late lets get you in bed." She said. She still hasn't noticed the fucken blood on me yet, I swear she deserves to die. As we got upstairs I went to the bathroom to clean myself up. As I was changing I noticed the scars on my body, from my dad. I stared to tear up, what did I do to deserve this. "No more braking...." I said as I looked at the clock in my hands....

End of flash back...

Well I guess that's where I found the clock then I thought. I signed as I noticed it was getting dark outside. I got up from the swings and stared to head back to the mansion. Once I got back I saw Masky and Hoodie by the door, then I stared to get sacred. I ran to them, "Masky! What's going on!?" I asked. They looked at each other I stared to get mad. "WHAT HAPPENED!" I yelled, "Ummm ok Toby got hurt badly, we found him by a school. And he was barely breathing. Luckily Hoodie got him breathing again. But he's not doing good, Ann is taking care of him right now. I don't know if you can see him tho, he's still getting fixed up" Masky said. "No" I said, then fell to the ground and began to cry.

I couldn't stop crying, after all the things that happen to me in my life. After being abused and raped, you think that would hurt me. It did but this hurt me more then ever, I've never felt anything like this. It hurts so much this feeling, its too powerful to control. ''W-what-h-happen" I said between my sobs, they both signed. "He broke his arm, he had stabbed wounds in his back. He was loosing a lot of blood, and when we found him he wasn't awake" Hoodie said. I couldn't breath I was crying too much, "Whoa whoa, calm down your gonna pass out!" Masky said. I couldn't then I heard the door open, "Clocky!" Jane said then bent down to help me get up. "I can't Jane, it hurts so much" I said, she signed.

"I know Clock you need to help me, so I can help you" she said. I got up from the ground and she put her arm around me trying to get me in the house. She led me to the couch then I sat down. "Is he gonna live?" I asked, "Yes he is he's doing all right. But Ann said he's in a coma like you were" she said. "When is gonna wake up?" I asked, she signed "We don't know, but I do know he is gonna wake up" she said. "Look when you were gone Masky and Hoodie came back carrying him. Ann then took care off him I helped her, he didn't look good. But then we fixed him" she said. "I want to hear his voice, I want him to tell me that he's ok." I said. Then Ann walked in, "Clockwork?'' She asked. I turned around and nodded. "Toby is ok, but you can see him" she said.

I quickly got up and ran to the room he was in, I walked in. He was in bed with bandages rapped around him. I walked over to him and sat by his side. I held his hand which had a cut on it, "Toby? I'm here for you now. I'm gonna take care of you, I'm not gonna leave your side until you wake up. I love you" I said.
