Chapter 22

April 26

Clockwork's POV***********

It's almost Toby's birthday, this year I can actually celebrate it with him. Since I wasn't able to last year, cause you know I didn't become a killer yet. But I'm excited I can't wait to spend time with him, I want it to be the best birthday he has gotten. I know he told me that he hasn't had a good one in a long time, so this year it's gonna be special. But the good part is that Zalgo hasn't been seen for the past couple of months. Which is good, now everyone can be free and go outside further in the woods. And also good news I get to kill again, I've been killing a lot more then I should have been, but whatever. But I also haven't told Toby bout what happen to me....yet. I don't want to tell him now since it's his birthday soon. His birthday is in two days so I asked Jane if she can help me make a cake for him. Yeah I know only Jane can bake in this household.

But I was out killing late at night, and I wasn't feeling that good. I stared to sneeze and my nose was stuffy. Great I'm getting sick I thought, my eye stared to get watery. (Quick question this has nothing to do with the story but...does anyone like when they get sick have watery eyes? Cause I do and I hate them anyways back to the story) I rush back home it was late so no one was up, and Toby was probably asleep. I quietly enter the house and made it back to the room. I open the door to find Toby asleep, awww he's so cute. I smiled and shut the door quietly taking my clothes off. But then I sneezed loudly, and Toby woke up. "B-babe?" He asked. "Yeah?" I responded, he got out of bed and turn on the lights.

"W-why are you here s-so late? It's 2:38 in t-the m-morning?" He asked. "Ummm came home yet f-from *sneeze* killing" I said giving a nerves smile. He tilt his head in confusion, "C-come to t-the bathroom w-with me" he said. Then grabbed my hand and pulled me to the bathroom, once we got inside he grabbed a thermometer. "Open" he said, I open my mouth. Then a couple seconds later it stared to beep, he took it out. His eyes widen "C-Clocky your temperature is at 99*F!" He said, "Oh umm..I guess I have a fever then" I said. "C-come on I'll t-take care o-of you" he said, then kissed my cheek. "I don't think you want to kiss me. I don't want you to get sick" I said. He chuckled "I'll k-kiss you no m-matter what" he said.

I smiled no one has ever really taken care of me when I got sick. My mom only took me to the doctors and gave me medicine but not really help me. Once we got back to our room I change into one of Toby's shirts and fuzzy pajama pants. "H-here lay d-down" he said, I walked over to the bed and went under the blankets. He went to the closet and pulled out more blankets of me. I was cold and shivering also, he noticed I was shivering. "H-hey still c-cold?" He asked, I nodded. "H-hang on I g-got to g-get medicine f-for you" he said. Then went back to the bathroom and grabbed a pill bottle and a cup of water. I sat up and grabbed the pills and water, then swallowed them. "How do you know how to take care of sick people?" I asked, he gave a slight chuckle.

"Ummm g-guess I j-just w-watch my m-mom take care of m-me." He said. I smiled "Wish I had a mom like yours while growing up" I said, "It's ok, you h-have me n-now to *twitch* take c-care of you" he said. Then kissed me "G-get some rest, y-you need it. S-so you'll f-feel better, and b-besides. I d-don't want y-you s-sick on my b-birthday" he said. I smiled "Yeah I'll sleep if you lay down next to me" I said, then he turn off the lights and laid next to me. "You know I'm not cold now" I said, he smiled "Guess I'm a y-your heater b-blanket uh?" He asked. I laughed "Guess you are" I said, then fell asleep.

The next morning Toby's POV*******April 27

I woke up the next morning, I should let Clocky get some sleep she needs it. I carefully got up and walked quietly over to the door. I opened it and walked out and shut it quietly. I sign in relief then walked downstairs, some people weren't here guess they went to kill. I walked to the kitchen to find Slender and Offender, god why is Offender here no one likes him. I signed and walked to the fridge and grabbed some water. "Good morning Toby" Slender said, I twitch "G-good morning" I said. "Where is Clockwork?" He asked, "S-she's sick so I'm t-taking care of her" I said. "What does she have?" Slender asked, "F-fever nothing b-bad" I said. "Hopefully she'll get better soon so she won't miss out on your birthday" Slender said. I nodded "So~what is is your girlfriend gonna give you for your birthday? If you know what I mean?" Said Offender. I rolled my eyes god why does he make things so difficult.

"S-she's not g-gonna g-give me sex. Besides s-she's not ready y-yet" I said. Wait why did I tell him that god I'm so dumb. Offender had a large smile on his face, "Trust~me if she doesn't want to do it yet. I'll make sure of it~" he said. This guy makes me mad "I'll w-wait till she's f-fucken ready" I said. "Language!" Slender yelled, I twitch "S-sorry" I said, "Look go give Clockwork her medicine I think she should take it now" Slender said. I nodded and went to get the pills and some water, once I did that I went back to my room. Clocky was still sleeping I shook her arm, "B-babe!" I yelled, she woke up. "What?" She asked rubbing her eye, I handed her the medicine. "H-here take t-this" I said, she took them from my hand and swallowed them. "Can I go back to bed now?" She asked, I kissed her forehead "Yes y-you need it" I said. Then she laid back down and quickly fell asleep.

I left the room and went back downstairs to find Ben playing his games. I walked over to the couch and sat down. Ben was still focused on his game and didn't even bother looking at anything. "So how's is she feeling?" Ben asked, "Ummm she's f-fine still s-sick-wait h-how you k-know?" I asked. He smiled "Guess I just over heard it while you were in the kitchen" he said. I signed "W-whatever" I said, "Hey want to play Mario Cart with me?" He asked. I nodded and sat down next to him and played Mario chart with him. I played for a while with him till I noticed it was dark. "Oh h-how long d-did we p-play for?" I asked, he shrugged. "Don't know don't care,must beat this level!" He yelled. I got up and walked upstairs to my room, Clocky was still asleep. God she must be really sick or really tired or maybe both. I shut the door and walked over to her, I really know something is wrong I just don't know it.

I know there's more to her, I hope she tells me soon. I signed, I shouldn't be worried I guess I'm just a over protective boyfriend. I laid next to her and pulled her closer to me, she was shivering so like she would call me. Her 'heater blanket' I guess I'll keep her warm. "You going to bed now?" Someone asked, I looked at Clocky oh she was awake. She looked at me with her bright green eye. I twitch "Y-yeah I m-mean I j-just want to be w-with you" I said blushing. She smiled "You know I'm feeling better now, thank you for taking care of me" she said. "I'll a-always take c-care of you ok" I said, "Ok" she responded. "Tomorrow is your birthday are you excited" she asked, I shrugged. "I haven't h-had a g-good birthday e-ever since m-my sister died." I said. "It's ok it will be great this year I promise" she said.

I kissed her forehead "Y-yeah you a-always make t-things b-better" I said. "What did you do all day?" She asked. "J-just played Mario Cart w-with B-Ben" I said, and t-talked to Slender" I said. "What did Slender say?" She asked, "Guess t-to k-know if y-you were s-sick that's all. D-don't worry t-that was it" I said. She smiled "Do you want yo visit your sister tomorrow? It's your birthday we can do anything you want" she said. "S-sure b-but we have to b-be carful r-remember w-what Slender t-told us!" I said. She nodded "Yeah it's ok we'll be safe I promise" she said. "I'm tired" Clocky said, "T-then get s-some sleep" I said. "Goodnight" she said, "G-goodnight princess" I said. Then we both fell asleep.

(A/N sorry if this took so long, I just moved in my new placed and I had to do a lot. And I had to help my friends out with personal issues but everything is ok. Sorry if it was kinda boring I'm really tired right now. But I wanted this to be publish for everyone who is reading this. But hopefully I'll write the next chapter soon, and see what happens on Toby's birthday! AKA it's not April yet but whatever!"
