Chapter 11

November 6 Clockwork's birthday

Toby's POV************

Today is Clockwork's birthday! Today is gonna be special for her, one of the best birthdays she will ever have. It was early in the morning bout 3:00am. I was downstairs with Jane I asked her if she can help me bake a cake for her. I was banned from the kitchen because I set it on fire. Four times I set it on fire, but anyways Jane was almost done with the cake its a strawberry shortcake. Clocky's favorite, she'll be happy I know she has told me what she did for birthday before she came here. She said that she usually went out with her friends but I think there's something more to that. But its her day we can do anything she wants to do. "So Toby what are you gonna do for the birthday girl today?" Asked Jane, "W-whatever she w-wants t-to do" I said smiling. "I'm glad, she seems happy with you" she said, "Y-Yeah she is I'm h-happy with her a-also" I said. "Well then the cake is done, its in the fridge so when your ready you can take it out." She said. "T-thanks Jane" I said, she nodded 'No problem any-" Jane was cut off as we heard a scream. We both looked at each other knowing who it was, we quickly ran up the stairs into my room. I saw Clocky crying, no please no today I thought.

Clockwork's POV minutes earlier

*Flash Back*

Today was my 13 birthday I'm happy my brother finally stop hurting me two years ago. Everything has been going good well except my dad but he can't hurt me today. It's too special to be hurt today, anyways I'm going out with a friend of mine. We're going to the mall and back to her place to have cake, she's nice her family treats me right. I wish I could have a family like that but like always she nor her family didn't know what happen to me. But luckily my parents weren't home nor my brother. So once I heard the doorbell ring I ran downstairs to open the door. "Hi Natalie Happy Birthday!" Said my friend giving me a warm hug. "Thank you" I said, then we left to go to the mall we shopped and talked. It was a good birthday it was around 9:00 the mall was closing so we went to her house to have cake.

It was 12:00am I left it was really late so I quietly sneaked in the living room once I got to the house. Thank god everyone was asleep but I was wrong. My dad was downstairs in the living room I thought he was sleeping but instead he was awake. He saw me I froze unable to move he walked up to me "WHERE THE HELL HAVE YOU BEEN!" He yelled. I felt a tear on my face "WELL I'm waiting'' he said grabbing my arm putting pressure on it forming a bruised. I couldn't say anything he doesn't even know its my birthday I knew he didn't know it was. But I wish he knew, but then I felt a sharp slap on my face. I fell to the ground in pain, then he started to beat me over and over. My mom didn't even come downstairs to see me she even didn't wish me a happy birthday my brother wasn't home either. He wouldn't care after all all he did on my birthday for four years was used me.

After a couple minutes beating me on the floor he poured beer on me. Then he left me by myself I cried trying to pick myself up. I walked upstairs to the bathroom I shut the door and took my clothes off. I looked in the mirror I saw all the bruises he gave me. They were everywhere I looked at myself and cried nobody would love me. I'm too ugly my body is awful, if anyone knew I was raped they wouldn't love me. Who am I kidding no one loves me not even my family. I fell to the ground by the toilet I threw up I was stressed out, I crawled to the shower and turned it on. I sat in that shower for who knows how long, I cried and cried. Once I got out I put on my pajamas and walked to my room. I sat on my bed holding my giraffe why wont anyone love me. Am I that useless to this world what did I ever do. "No more braking today was supposed to be a perfect day. But instead it was another day in hell.....

*end of flashback*

Clockwork's POV***********

I woke up screaming in shocked then I cried today was my birthday. Then I saw Toby and Jane run into the room, Toby hugged me "Shhhh Clocky its o-ok" he said running his fingers through my hair. "Oh Toby" I said between my sobs, 'I'll leave you two alone" said Jane then left shutting the door. "Clocky y-you need t-to c-calm *twitch* down'' he said to me. He's right I do I stopped crying "There see I'm h-here with you" he said he looked into my eye. "Today is y-your day, H-Happy Birthday babe" he said then kissed me. He made me feel better I kissed him back, I wrapped my arms around his neck. We kept on kissing not braking the kiss, he wrapped his arms around my waist. He fell on the bed leaving me on top of him we didn't even notice we just kept kissing. He bite my lip I tasted blood I did the same to him then I realized, I can't do this it brings back to many bad memories of my brother.

''Wait!" I said braking the kiss, "We cant do this Its too early and I'm not ready" I said. I got up and sat on the bed "I u-understand I'm s-sorry-'' I caught Toby off. "It's not our fault don't worry" I said, Toby got up ''C-Clocky why were y-you crying?" He asked. I signed I need to tell him he's my boyfriend "I-I had a nightmare can I tell you it?" I asked, "If y-you want to" he said then I moved closer to him he wrapped his arm around me. I laid my head on his shoulder I took a deep breath "Ok it started     when it was 13th birthday"

Toby's POV*********

After a couple minutes of this nightmare Clocky had I felt angry. No body should ever hurt her ever again if they do I'll swear to god I'll kill them in a slow painful death. "Clocky n-no one w-ill hurt you ever again I p-promise" I said kissing her head. "Come on l-lets enjoy t-today" I said then pick her up bride style and went downstairs. ''HAPPY BIRTHDAY CLOCKWORK!" everyone said I put Clocky down she had tears of joy on her face. "Thank you'' she said then Sally hugged her "Happy birthday Clocky I have a present for you" she said then handed Clocky a small box with pink wrapping paper on it. Clocky smiled "Thank you Sally" she said then open it. She smiled it was a gift card to Bath&Body works. "Oh my god Sally how did you know I love this store?" She asked. Sally shrugged "Don't know lucky guess" she said Clocky smiled.

After a couple hours it was time for cake everyone sat at the table I got the cake from the fridge. "Toby did you do this?" Asked Clocky I twitch "Ummm I h-had some help" I said looking at Jane. She nodded "Ready to sing happy birthday?' Said Jane I nodded. Then Jane walked over and lite the candles up since I'm banded from the lighter. 'HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU. HAPPY BIRTHADY TO CLOCKWORK! HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU!" Said everyone then Clocky blew out the candles. Then Jane cut the cake, 'First the birthday girl get the first piece'' Jane said handing the slice of cake to Clocky. "Thank you Jane" Clocky said, "Strawberry shortcake huh my favorite'' she said then she took a bite. "I love it" she said then got up and kissed me, "SAVE IT FOR THE BEDROOM!" Ben yelled. I stuck up the middle finger as I still kissed Clocky.

"Hey Clockwork?'' asked Jeff, "Yes?" She responded "If you don't mind asking how old are you?" He asked. ''17 years old" she said, "Oh ok just wondering" he said then went back eating his piece of cake. After everyone ate we played some music and talked. Then it was night before I knew it, "Masky, Hoodie, and Toby children, please come here" Slender said. I got up and walked up to Slender. "Tonight I need you to go out and kill, I sense teenagers here. So please get ready" he said then walked away. I signed "Hey its ok Toby you'll be back soon of Clocky" said Hoodie then walked away to get his stuff. I walked to Clocky "Hey what was all that about?" She asked. "Sorry b-baby I got to g-go out and k-kill tonight" I said looking down. "Oh its ok ill wait for you" she said kissing my cheek "Get ready" she said.

Then I ran upstairs to grab my hatchets, googles, ad mouth guard and got ready. Once I was done I went bak downstairs to find Masky and Hoodie waiting by the door. "Ready?" Asked Masky, I nodded then we walked out the door, "WAIT TOBY!" I heard someone yell I turned around. "Yes Clocky?" I said, then she kissed me "forgot to give that to you, for the best birthday I ever had" she said. Her own words made me blush. "No p-problem anything f-for you princess'' I said. "You'll be back soon right?'' She asked, "I'll be b-back s-soon ok" I said she nodded then I ran into the woods. I'm glad she had a good birthday today. I smiled at my own word god I love her if she only knew.....
