"NO! I BEG of you! Take me instead!" He screamed as the pureblood squirmed above the ground, putting pressure around her neck whenever she made a noise . . . all an illusion of course but they didn't know that. I always found it so amusing how people would scream with such fear.

"Lovely. It is nice of you to care for her. Relationships are somewhat . . . beautiful?" Jane said monotonously, joining my side. The crazed twin and I were interrogating two suspects involved in a mass killing of humans of a little town.

Bite marks were found on each victim and drained like they were nothing. A lone survivor had seen Matteo and Alessandra also known as the Blood Lovers, two reckless vampires who created Immortal Children, searching for what they called 'the perfect child'. As a result, a whole town was destroyed in seconds.

Children as young as three year olds met their demise at such a young age, for not being 'perfect enough', it was horrendous to see the pure things involved in something they didn't know existed. Babies were left wailing, crying for someone to come comfort them.

"Please, do not harm him! You may do whatever you want with me, just please do not hurt my child! I beg of you!" The women screamed, breaking down, as I picked up the Immortal Child. The boy had such rich chestnut brown curls, emerald eyes, a clean ghostly—white complexion and of course, the matching beauty.

"I told you to shut up!" I yelled, putting even more pressure.

"No! No! Stop! You can't—" I turned toward the male, writhing in unimaginable pain as Jane projected her devastating powers onto him. Luckily, I was never able to witness such powers as one of my own prevented her mind from touching myself or those I wished to protect.

"Did you just tell me what to do?" I asked, walking slowly toward him as the child cooed.

"I'm sorry. I'm so sorry. Please, do not hurt him or her." he pleaded. I grew more and more agitated as they repeated their words. I wished to rip their tongues out of their mouths.

Placing a hand on his shoulder, I smiled. "Ah, Matteo, how unfortunate are you? Your life hangs in the balance yet your final wish is to rescue two beings whom will forget about your existence as time goes on. The child is not yours. Alessandra did not bare the child nor raise it! How dare you call the boy your own when you slaughtered his family!" I yelled as a crack came from Matteo's leg.

       "Argh! Damn you!"

"How do you feel about that?" I asked calmly. He looked at me strangely before screaming in pain again.

"Answer her or else your wife will enjoy how you feel," Jane threatened as I gritted my teeth. After what she'd done, I despised the girl and wished her gone but I wasn't able to kill her because it meant the people I love dead. I was forced to do terrible things, things that I enjoyed and also hated.
