KENDALLS POV / NEXT DAY
I arrived at work today quite early and checked in with Justin for a short moment then left. We really didn't say much to say each other at the moment, i knew he had more to say to me but I kept the conversation short and straight forward. I would've not checked in with him if it wasn't mandatory but it is.
I haven't gave Justin back the gifts he gave to me. There was just too many roses to carry in both hands. The roses were beautiful im not going to lie about that.
The chocolates weren't going to be returned simply because Hayden ate them all. She loves her chocolate. That bubbly hyper toddler loves her sweets.
Im very thankful for the gifts he gave me but I could not keep them yet Jo keeps hiding the roses from me, since she's so mesmerized by them. But I'm certainly keeping the note, I needed Justin to elaborate as to what he meant on the word 'mutual'.
Im currently at my desk focusing on editing these articles for the month of October. October introduces more people buying jackets, heavy coats and cardigans. The fashion sense for fall has begun.
My fingers tapped on the laptop keyboard letters to correct any errors on the articles. I hope I finish quick enough to send it to the publisher.
My leg shakes as I try to focus on the editing. I started to nibble on my left hand fingernails. I groan, removing my left hand away from my mouth. I don't want to start that habit again because if I start it I won't be able to stop it.
I read, then reread the paragraphs on the articles to make sure I did not miss any errors. I have to make sure the article is excellent for people to read.
I hummed in boredom, these paragraphs are going to take forever to do. But I must do it. I always have to finish something I started. Even my dad said I have to, if I want to be success in the fashion industry. I always listen to my fathers advice.
I wish Gina was here to help me edit these but she wasn't here at work today. She has family issues at the moment, that's what Alec told me. I hope Gina is okay.
Speaking of Alec, him and Jo are doing great. Everytime Jo gets a text message from him she gets the biggest grin on her face. I get very happy knowing there's someone in Jo's life making her grin like that. I know Alec is a good guy and wouldn't try to hurt her..
My eyes snapped to the direction of the door when its slammed open causing me to jump in my seat, I was not expecting that sudden noise. When the door opened it revealed Lacey. I mentally screamed, I did not want to see her. She's always so problematic in. very situation and now she has the audacity to walk into my office..
