I'll Wait For You (Pat x Jen AU) {DISCONTINUED}

Chapter 3

Jen woke up in the morning with Pat laying down next to her. She felt arms around her. She looked and noticed Pat's arms around her. Was he holding me the whole night?!, she thought. They were lucky that it was Saturday so they didn't have to worry about going to school. Jen needed to see her phone to see if her mom called her but she was held tight by Pat.
Jen: Pat...wake up...hey!
Pat: mm...what...
Jen: Pat...let me go...please
Pat opened his eyes to find him holding her. He started blushing like crazy he let go of Jen.
Pat: Oh um I'm sorry
Jen: It's cool
Jen got her phone and noticed that her mom called her about five times. She called her mom but she didn't answer.
Jen: She's probably on the plane...
Jen got up to go to the kitchen but Pat held her back.
Pat: *blushed* S-stay...
Jen: *smiled* Fine let me put on a movie on my tv
Jen put on Netflix in her own tv and they watched a whole bunch of tv shows. Jen ended up getting hungry and got up to go to the kitchen. Pat stayed and kept watching Netflix while Jen got some cereal.
Pat: Hey Jen
Jen got startled and ended up choking on some of her cereal.
Jen: What's your problem!
Pat: *chuckled* Hey all I did was say "Hey Jen"
Jen: Yeah but don't sneak up on me!
Pat: Yeesh sorry...
Jen: There's some cereal in the pantry and some left over pizza in the fridge
Pat: Alright...thanks!
Pat and Jen sat across each other eating their Reese's Puffs. After eating their cereal Jen took Pat's bowl and washed it along with her's.
Pat: Jen you don't have to...
Jen: It's alright...I'm used to it
Pat looked just a little sad and went behind Jen while she was washing their bowls. She was a little shocked when Pat moved closer and hugged her but she just smiled.

After they finished breakfast they decided to go to the park that was close by. Since Pat didn't have spare clothes he went to his house to change while Jen stayed at her house to change. Jen wore a blue flower mini dress with some black converse (cause why not) and a jean jacket. Pat and Jen decided to meet up at the park fountain when they were done changing. Jen was the first one to finish change so she made her way to the fountain but saw someone she didn't want to see. Jack was coming towards her with a grin on his face.
Jack: Hello Jen...you look cute today
Jen: What do you want...
Jack: Well you know how you and Pat are friends right...best friends even
Jen: Yeah...what about...
Jack: Well everybody back in middle school thought you guys were more than that...they forgot about that thought until Pat came back...now all they talk about is how you and Pat are dating but I know for a fact that's not true and when I told my new friends this they actually trusted me and they spread the truth
Jen: Get straight to the point
Jack: Well you see some of are old friends still think that you guys are dating and I think I can confirm that...
Jen: We. Are. Not. Dating!
Jack: Then what's this?!
Jack took out his phone and showed Jen a picture that revealed her and Pat sleeping together in her bed.
Jen: Oh please me and Pat knew each other since we were in diapers we would have sleep overs almost all the time where we would sleep on the same bed so what's your point?
Jack: You don't get it do you...do you remember Brooklyn...
That name sent chills down Jen's spine.
Jen: What about her...
Jack: Well I follow her on Instagram and apparently she's out of the nuthouse
Jen: No...
Jack: Mhm and what do you think she would do if she found out that you are  dating Pat...
Jen stood there for a moment. Brooklyn was this girl, around Pat's age, that would bully Jen for being with Pat. Jen wouldn't say it but she is down right terrified of Brooklyn. She remembered Brooklyn beating her up, torturing her, and she even once sneaked into a sixth grade dance to dump glue, paint, feathers, boiling water, and mud on her. After that happened Brooklyn was sent to a mental hospital because apparently she had a mental disorder but then we got news that she was sent to an Insane Asylum because she was untreatable. Now Jack is telling Jen that she got out and this gave Jen no choice but to do what Jack wanted because if Brooklyn found out about the rumor of Pat and Jen dating then that's the end of Jen's life.
Jen: *whispers* What do you want...
Tears were starting to form in her eyes. Jack looked a little guilty but he shrugged it off.
Jack: Just do as I say and if you're a good girl then I'll delete the picture
Jen: *whispers* Fine...but...
Jack: Hm?
Jen: When is she coming back...
Jack: Well it showed on her Insta that she's out of the Asylum but she's going to stay at the city near there until her parents can get her cleared out in order for her to come to school because well who would want a psycho at a school
Jen: ...
Jack: So it's settled then...do as I say and this picture stays a secret
Jack left leaving Jen standing there in tears. After about five minutes she noticed Pat coming her so she quickly cleaned her eyes and put on a smile.
Pat: Hey...you okay? Your eyes are red...
Jen: I'm fine...I just held in a sneeze yeah
Pat: Alright...well lets walk around shall we
Jen: We shall...
