Jen was still shocked of what happened between her and Pat. She decided to walk to the shelter where Cloud was. When she got there she noticed that Jack was with his sister. Before she could turn around Jack noticed her.
Jack: Hey Jen!
Jen: Oh hey...
Jack: What's wrong...you seem a little down...
Jen: Nothing just a little bored
Jack: Ah I see well I'm guessing you're coming to see Cloud?
Jen: Mhm
Jack: Cool I came by to see him too come on let's go say hi
Jen and Jack were lead by Jacky to a room with a whole bunch of kittens in it. A white one in particular came running to Jen.
Jacky: Looks like he remembers you Jen
Jen: Aw hello Cloud
Cloud: Meow~
Jen: Aww
Jacky: So cute!
Jen sat with her back against the wall with Cloud on her lap. Jack sat beside her.
Jack: So you excited for tonight?
Jen: *nods*
Jack: I'm excited too...you know...
I've been meaning to tell you something
Jen: Hm?
Jack: I...really really like you...
Jen: As in...like like me...?
Jack: *nods*
Jen: I don't know how to feel about that...
Jack: You don't have to like me back but if you want...if the dance goes well for both of us...maybe we can go out sometime...?
Jen: I'd love to
Jack: Really?!
Jen: *nods*
Although Jen didn't feel the same way towards Jack she doesn't want to hurt so she decided to give it a shot.

Jack and Jen soon left the shelter to go get ready for the dance. Jen was a little nervous but she just shook it off. Jack was so nervous that he kept pacing around his room and realized he only had thirty minutes until the dance and he hasn't showered. He quickly got in the shower and soon got ready. Jen didn't wear anything too special. She just wore a black shirt with pink flowers on them and black skinny jeans with some black heels. She was about to leave to the dance but noticed that Jack was actually there waiting for her.
Jack: H-hey Jen...
Jen: Hey Jack!
Jack: You look very beautiful...
Jen: And you look handsome!
Jack: Th-thanks...
Jen: Well let's head there now!
Jack: Right!

Pat decided to head to the dance but only to get away from his mom asking questions. He didn't wear anything special, since he wasn't really going there to enjoy it, and just put on some black jeans with a black hoody. He starting walking to the school when he noticed Jack and Jen walking together a little ahead of him. He slowed down, put his hood on, and kept his head low. He stayed outside of the gym, where the dance was, for a little while. He then decided to go inside and get something to eat. When he went inside he noticed everybody dancing in the middle of the gym. He then found Jack and Jen dancing together. She's happy with him...,thought Pat. He quickly got food and started heading to the gym doors when someone grabbed his shoulder.
