Chapter 1: A view of my life –

ACADIA’S POV-

So you’re saying all this costs me $3500 only? Wow, have I picked up on a deal or what. I carefully took off my Tiffany & Co sunglasses and placed them on the glass table.

I looked the store manager in the eye and gave them a huge grin, Sold.

I mean c’mon, the store manager nearly got down on her knees when she saw that I was spinning my black card with two fingers. Well she probably already knew who I was when I stepped into the store, considering the fact that I was just on the news yesterday. (Trust me, it’s a long story. Getting caught with Prince Eddie in the same hotel room wasn’t exactly the plan)

Satisfied wouldn’t even begin describing how I felt when I walked out of the store. Throwing my bags into my red Geneva Lamborghini, I caught the guys across the street whistling and howling just like hungry wolves. I smirked and leaned against my Geneva, and damn when I locked eyes with one of the guys I felt a heated passion flow through my veins. We were practically eye raping each other, as if our eyes were telling the other person secret commands. He sure took his time walking over, because just as he was halfway over my phone beeped with a text message. I grabbed my phone out of my purse and looked at the message, it was from my best friend.  – SOS. Home now. – Annoyed, I got in the car and drove away. Hearing the guys groan in annoyance, one of them shouted out “What a tease” I had a feeling I would see him again soon.

I could see the golden gates of my house from where I am, well it wasn’t hard to spot considering that my family owned the largest property of Vancouver. The gate opened up when I was approaching and speeding towards my house I saw at least seven other Lamborghini’s parked up against the stairs, recognizing one of the cars was my best friend’s mother. Curious, I grabbed my shopping bags and walked up the stairs in my 6- inch Steve Madden heels.

When I entered my house, shocked wasn’t exactly how I felt at first. It was more of a confused and nervous feeling, I saw people comforting my mom while she was sat down on the couch crying. Thankfully my best friend, Lana ran up to me and pulled me away from the awkwardness of not knowing anything.

What’s going on? “Are you serious, or are you just pretending not to know because you’re not willing to believe it?” Lana cried, clutching hard on to my arm. I honestly have no idea what you’re talking about, which was funny because I actually didn’t. I probably had my nervous smile, and confused look on my face because Lana quickly turned pale and stumbled back. I had to grab her hand towards me when she fell back because she was no longer holding onto my arm.

“Oh god” was all she said before I saw her face drop with tears streaming down her face, and that was when I knew something terrible had happened.
