This is the Diary of Alex Danvers written at a time where she meets Maggie Sawyer. It is connected with a story I have written that's called ''The Diary of Kara Danvers''.
Something has been on my mind lately. I met someone. Her name is Maggie Sawyer. It was totally work related and all of that. She is a police officer, so she attended one of my crime scenes last week. We worked on that one case together, and after that I have not been able to stop thinking about her. Every time I close my eyes I see her beautiful smile and cute dimples. And to me, all of this is crazy. She's a woman, and I can't stop thinking about her. This has been bothering me, and I feel like I'm not ready to tell Kara about any of it, and if I go see her, she will definitely see that something is wrong.

Oct 9th, 2016 – Sunday week 40
''Dear diary,
I think Kara is starting realize that I am avoiding her a bit. She's been asking me constantly if I'm fine. She's tried calling me, but I haven't answered. So, I have been texting her, lying about being busy. Maggie asked me if I wanted to have a drink after work one night this week, we did. We had a nice time drinking and playing pool. We also talked, mostly about Maggie. I don't know how we got on the topic, but she told me that she's gay. She told me her whole coming out story and experience, and I think I reacted a bit weird. I hope I didn't. She seemed fine. I am glad she's got it all figured out, because I don't. I have some shit to figure out.

Oct 16th, 2016 – Sunday, week 41
''Dear diary,
I am true to myself, or at least that's what I told myself before I met Maggie Sawyer.
Maggie and I was playing pool early this week, it was a day after work, that's the first time anyone has ever asked if I'm gay. Maggie broke up with her girlfriend a few weeks ago and I wanted to cheer her up. So, I asked her if she wanted to come over to my place and watch a movie and have a beer after we were done playing pool. That's when she said '' I didn't know you were into girls'', and the way I'm explaining it may sound like Maggie was overreacting, but she wasn't. I was being forward. Anyways, I told her I wasn't and bailed. Later this week, Maggie and I worked on a case together. It was super awkward, and I had thought a lot about the comment she made. I asked Maggie if we could talk later, so we agreed to meet at the bar. When we met later that day, I had a long speech to her:
