Nash's POV

We arrive at the hotel at 10 p.m. and see Bart in the lobby. Hayes and I make our way over to introduce ourselves in person. "Hey I'm Nash Grier. Nice to meet you sir." I say and shake his hand. "And I'm Hayes Grier, his brother. But you know that." He smiles and shakes hands with Bart.

"You guys will be in room 308 with Shawn and his friend Ava. Have fun. Better get some rest." He says and he hands us the room key. We head up with our luggage and turn left on the third floor. Once we reach our room I unlock the door and we head in.

We set our bags down in the small closet and get into bed. It's now 10:28 and I'm pretty beat from our flight and so is Hayes. "Night Hayes." "Night Nash." And with that I turn out the lights and go to sleep.

I wake up before Hayes does at about 8 a.m. I get out of bed and see two other people in our room. I almost screamed but I see a note on the table.
'Hey. I'm Ava and the guy is Shawn. Don't freak out he's part of Magcon. We just had a long and rough flight. We got off the plane at 5:30. Just trying to sleep.

Okay that's what I thought but it still scared me seeing two strangers in the room. It looks like they really need their sleep so I won't wake them up, this time. The Ava girl is kind of cute, not going to lie, but I bet she has a thing with Shawn. I take a shower and get dressed. I then wake Hayes up and he does the same. I explain to him that the two people are Shawn and Ava and we decide to go on our phones for a little bit.

I then see I've been added to a group chat with some unknown numbers. I see Bart and Hayes'. I figure it's a MagCon group chat.

From Bart:
Everyone say your names.

To Bart + 9 others:
I'm Nash

My phone starts blowing up in the group chat and so do the other 3 phones in the room. I look at all of the texts and change the numbers to contacts. Then once Hayes is out of the shower we head down to eat.

To Bart + 9 others:
Hayes and I are heading down to breakfast if anyone else wants to join.

From Cameron:
I'll be down.

From Matt:
Carter, Jacob, Taylor and I are already down here.

To Bart + 9 others:
Alright see you soon.

I walk up to the table and see Cameron joined them. "Hey y'all!" I say happily. They all reply with 'Heys' and 'What ups.' Hayes and I go and sit down with them. We talk about how excited we are for tour and how exhausted we all were from our flights. "Yea Shawn and some girl Ava are also in Hayes and I's room. I hope they're chill, but fun." I say. "Shawn seems really cool. He also has an amazing voice." Matt says.

The elevator dings and we all stop talking and look over. It's Shawn and the Ava girl. Shawn walks over and Ava stops about ten feet from the table. Bart introduces Shawn and we all say hi. Ava tries to go back in the elevator but Shawn goes over and puts his hand on her shoulder and he links their arms. She slinks out and sarcastically frowns.

She runs around and hides behind a trash can. I laugh and hold my stomach because it starts to hurt. Shawn slings her over his shoulder and walks back over to the table. Mahogany yells "I already love you!" And all of us are still laughing. Once we calm down Shawn says "So... Everyone this is Ava, or Ave for short. I'm not sure if Bart told you but she'll be staying with us for the whole trip. And no we aren't siblings."

He introduces us all and she smiles and waves. "She's not very social and she's a dweeb, but she's pretty cool once you warm up to her." She punches Shawn in the arm and we all chuckle. I walk up to her and say "Hey! So we're sharing a room for the Dallas part! I saw your note this morning so I didn't wake y'all up. Consider yourselves lucky this time." I give her the stink eye and we laugh.

She sits down next to Shawn and I. She's pretty cute but I bet her and Shawn have a thing. This trip is going to be so fun. I'm really excited to spending it with my new friends. Bart says that today is our day off. So Carter and Matt suggest we go up to our hotel room and get to know each other. We all agree and start to head up. I smile to myself and catch up with everyone.
