Chapter 19

Ava's POV

I wake up with Shawn almost fully on top of me and lightly snoring. (It reminded me of Aaron's vine. At the top^) Are you freaking serious Shawn? It's kind of cute, but I know it'll embarrass him so I carefully grab my phone and take a 10 second video and save it. It's 8:00 so I decide I should wake the boys in my room up. I wake Shawn up by kissing his nose and ruffling his hair. His eyes light up "Now that's a way to wake up." He smiles and brushes my hair out of my face. "I love you gorgeous." I smile and go to wake up the Griers.

I brush my fingers through Hayes' hair and he doesn't wake up. So I put one hand on my hip and use the over one to pinch his nose shut. He abruptly sits up and gasps for air as well as waking Nash up in the process. "Sorry Hayes! Love you!" I hold out the you longer than usual. He rolls his eyes and gets up. "Good morning Nash! How did you sleep?" I say perkily. "Um. Fine, why are you so happy today?" I smirk. "Oh for no reason." I pause. "Except that Shawn and I are together now!" I screech. I hear Shawn laughing from the bathroom. "I knew it! I fucking knew it! You guys are so relationship goals!" He yells. But he then speaks in a softer tone, "Tell me everything later okay?" I nod.

The Griers and I have been getting along so well. They're some great friends. "Pea brain hurry up I need to shower!" I say referring to Shawn. "Hold your horses give me one minute!" He replies back. He walks out with a towel wrapped around his waist and his hair looked like a mop. It's still pretty long on the sides. But now I can stare at his developing abs and not feel bad for doing it. He walks over to me and Nash trades him spots in the bathroom.

"Ave give me your hand." I scrunch my eyebrows together. "Why?" He grabs it and takes my fingers and drags them along his abs. oh. shit. Is this weird? I don't care but Holy Shitballs. I play it off though. I yanked my hand away. "Mendes! Not cool!" "You're the one staring at them!" He smirks. Touché. I just get up and go to the shower. Since Hayes and Nash insisted they have to be in here, I get in the shower clothed, and undress in the shower. I carefully wrap and throw my clothes over the curtain and turn on the water.

I turn off the water and peak out to see if anyone is still in here. Everyone is in the room, and I mean everyone from MagCon. I guess they're getting ready for the first day. I reach my arm out and grab a towel. "Mendes!" I yell while still in the shower with a towel wrapped around me. He comes in. "Yea what up Ave?" "Could you grab me some clothes? I don't care which ones as long as I don't look like a clown." I ask. "Yea no problem."

I was worried that this whole boyfriend and girlfriend thing would mess up our friendship, but it's exactly the same so far. Well, with more couple stuff added in. He comes back in and says "I'm setting them on the counter and shutting the door." It was more of a softer voice. I'm not sure why. "Thank you. Wait come over here really quick." He comes over by the side of the shower curtain. I open it slightly and kiss him on the forehead. "Thank you!" I say happily. He smiles and closes the door as he leaves.

I hop out of the shower and lock the door. I get dressed quickly. And immediately grab the hair dryer and do 5 minutes worth of drying. My hair isn't completely dry, but it'll do. I don't want to make everyone late. I walk out the door and grab my Ray Bans sunglasses and go stand next to Shawn. Everyone is looking at us and Shawn nervously laughs and scratches the back of his head. Nash is smirking. Oh I know what's happening.

"Shawn what's your big announcement?" Matt asks. Oh my God Nash you're dead. I shoot Nash daggers with my death glare. I the turn perkily and a bit shy to the group. I entertwine my fingers with Shawn's and say "We're an official couple!" I smile and I hear Mahogany yell "Woop!" And blankly, Cam says "Oh. Congrats guys." I don't get it. He might like me? But I've only known him for 2 days. Sure he's cute and funny, but Shawn and I have been building Chemistry for years. You see who wins there? Shawn.

"Anyways," I smile. "Who's ready for MagCon?!" I yell and whisper "MagCon, MagCon, MagCon." To give an echo effect. They laugh and Shawn looks down and smiles at me. He then leans in and gives me a quick kiss and we're the last ones out the door. I hope MagCon goes well. It's the first one!

My little secret is I kind of wish that I was a part of it. Yea I'm on the tour trip, but I kind of want to be a part of it. Like go on stage and dance and be crazy, I think that's what they do. And just forget it. I'm here to support Shawn and that's all that matters. "You okay there Ave?" Shawn asks, I guess I zoned out. "Yea I'm fine! Just nervous for you." He laughs. "Don't be. I'm worried enough for everyone on the whole tour. It's not stagefright, but I'm just kind of nervous that something is going to go wrong for the first stop."

I look at him and say. "Don't worry about it. Y'all are talented and even if you mess up your fans will laugh about it and not care. They love you guys." I squeeze his hand and give him a reassuring smile. "I don't know what I'd do without you Klase." I laugh and say "You'd probably be a homeless guy on the streets looking for a person who's as awesome as I am." I smirk. He bends over and laughs causing everyone to look back at us. I smile and he says "Can you just take a damn compliment?" And chuckles. "Fine. Thank you Mendes I don't know what I'd do without you either." And we reach the venue on the ground floor of the hotel. Shawn brings out these terrible heart glasses and looks at me and says, "The name's Mendes, Shawn Mendes." Oh jeez.
