Ava's POV

"Alright love birds break it up!" The familiar voice of my girl best friend fills the brisk air. I smile and jump into Shawn's arms. "What'd you say?" I smirk and turn to look at Mahogany. She laughs and waves me off. As she's walking towards us she says "We need to go if we want to make it!" "Okay, okay." I say excitedly getting down from Shawn.

"Ah I'm so excited!" Mahogany shrieks. "Ladies ladies relax." Nash says trying to contain our excitement. Who do you think you are sir? "Shut up Nash." I roll my eyes and smile at Mahogany. "Alright we need to go get ready!" She says all giddy. "Bruh, we look fine and I have my phone and wallet. Lezgo." I say. Mahogany begrudgingly agrees and we say goodbye to the boys.

"Bye losers!" I wink and flip my hair. Mahogany blows a kiss and we walk off as we laugh at how stupid we are. "Okay so how are we getting there LOX?" I awkwardly laugh because I realize we don't have a ride. "Oh yea. That would've been the smart thing to do. Get a ride. Ha." Imbecile. "I'll just get us an uber I guess." She laughs and we walk into the café right around the corner.

"Why'd we come here?" She asks me. "Well the uber driver needs an exact spot to pick us up doesn't he?" I say with sarcasm laced through my voice. "Damn I'm glad I'm not Spider-Man because you're laced with Venom!" I laugh so hard I start to sound like a dying seal. "Haha!" I breathe in. "You're fucking," I breathe in again. "H-hilarious!" I spit out finally. She curtseys.

We wait at a small booth for a good 20 minutes before our driver shows up. "Hey they're here." I say and we get up and walk out the door. "Hey I'm Reese I'll be your driver today. Either one of you want the aux cord?" The tall, slender blonde haired blue eyed boy says. "Dibs!" I say a bit too loud because he flinches a little. "Okay then here you go." He laughs and starts the route on gps.

"So if y'all don't mind me askin', what concert are y'all goin' to?" I contain my excitement by biting my tongue. He obviously knows it's a concert because we had to tell him the destination. "The Vamps." Mahogany let's out a small shriek of excitement. "Oh yea I've heard of 'em. I also heard that they're in the process of recording with some kid called Shawn Mendes. Nobody knows who he is though. Plus it's just a rumour." No fucking way. No fucking way. Shawn Peter Raul Mendes you're so fucking dead. I mean that's so cool but why wouldn't he tell me?!

"Um excuse me for a minute." I unplug the aux cord from my phone. I dial Shawn's number and hear it ring 1 1/2 times before he picks up. I can't believe he didn't tell me! That dumbass is going to pay! He knows they're one of my favourite bands!

"Care to explain about your new song with The Vamps!" I practically yell into the speaker of the phone. "Uh-um. Where'd you hear that?" He plays dumb. Really bitch, I'm not stupid. "Don't play dumb with me Mendes! When were you going to tell me?" I calm by smiling remembering I'm on the high ground. "Well you see I've been trying to record a song with them and just recently have I been invited to co-write a song with them! I was just going to surprise you when it came out. It's close to being done."

A part of me just died. My two favourite things are coming together! Boyfriend and music! This is awesome! "Peter Raul, that's great! Oh babe I can't believe it! Well I gotta go I was just seeing if the rumours were true! Love you." "Love you more." He ends the call.

"Well it's true." Mahogany stops breathing after taking a huge gasp. "I can't believe it." I murmur under my breath. Shawn's already growing a lot. He's not going to ditch me, right? I mean he could, then it'd be even. I sigh hoping that everything's going to be okay.

Shawn Mendes. That's the last thing I hear before Mahogany and I scream our heads off. He's at the concert... singing?! This is amazing! Make me proud homeboy!
