The guards had ran out of of the room and I was alone again. I looked at my hands, carefully noting the small, dark purple flames that rested in them.
"Hmm... Interesting. There's fire there, I can feel that much. But it doesn't hurt. Actually, it's kind of a tingling feeling." I said, with curiosity shining from my eyes like a spotlight.
I squeezed my hands tightly, then slowly opened them back up. The fires had gone out and my hands were bare again.
"This is incredible. No being is capable of controlling the Alicorn Amulet. Not even Trixie TRUELY could. This is amazing!! Hahaha!!!" I laughed, slightly, maniacally.
Moments later, I could hear what I assumed was hoofsteps coming toward the room. I started to panic.
"Oh nononononono! What am I gonna do?! Wait! I have magic! Although, I don't really know how to use it yet... Whatever! I'll have to use it all the same!"
The steps got closer and closer as I prepared to defend against the guards. But just before they got in, I was grabbed from above and hoisted into the air by some random pony. Who whispered for me to stay silent and not worry. They said they were here to help me get out of here and help me with the Amulet. Their voice sounded feminine but firm. They were about average height for a pony, but that was all I could tell in the darkness of the rafters at the top of the room.
I looked down at the guards below, scrambling around the, now crowded, room. They were confused of why the room was empty, including the Amulet being gone.
The pony who rescued me dropped down and held a guard by the throat in a corner near the door. Their back was to a wall, so no guards could sneak up on them.
Now that they were in the light, I could see why I couldn't see more than general looks on them. They were wearing a black nylon suit that only showed their eyes, which were brown.
"You all better let me and my friend go without trouble, or your comrade here gets it." The mystery pony said, a knife drawn and at the guard's back.
The guards put their weapons down and the mystery pony looked at me.
"You can come down now." They gestured with their head for me to come down.
I was nervous to drop down, considering how high up I was. But I didn't have a choice, so I jumped across the rafters to the side of the room where the door was and I hopped down. I landed much smoother than I had thought I would. I guess the Amulet doesn't want its user to be hurt.
"Now, we'll be on our way. Don't even think about following us, I won't hesitate to kill all of you. Plus, I won't hold him back either." The pony gestured to me. "He could probably take all of you out in one blow if he wanted to."
The guards looked as if they knew that to be true. Although, I wouldn't kill anypony unless ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY.
The pony threw the guard forward into his buddies and turned around to walk out the door. I quickly followed suit and we both walked out the door.
Then things got really bad. An entire squadron of the Equestrian military decided to show up to deal with us.
"Crap! We need to hide! Now!" I shouted, both scared and worried.
"You go hide! I'll keep them busy!" The pony said.
"You're going to fight them?! How are you going to handle them all?!"
"JUST GO!"
I raced off from the castle, looking for the best place to hide. I then realized what I would need to do. I would have to hide in the Everfree Forest if I wanted to escape them.
