Link felt sick to the stomach waiting to see Rhetts reaction to his slip of words, He's going to be so angry I didn't tell him! Links head was going crazy with thoughts until suddenly out of nowhere Rhett was hugging him, the warmth radiating off of the taller man onto link who started crying over the rush of events that had been happening throughout the day, he broke, cracked, poured out his mind that had been filled to the brim with pain and stress. They kept hugging for over 5 minutes just embracing what was happening. Eventually Rhett broke the hug and wiped the many tears from Links tired eyes. " You've been sleeping down stairs because of Christy? You two have been arguing again.. I thought you were happy again?" Rhetts eyes were slightly bloodshot thinking about his friend being in all this emotional pain. " Things were never the same after the first argument Rhett, you can't win against Christy.. y-you just cant!" Link punched the dashboard but didn't even flinch, his hand started to swell up, and the cracked skin on his knuckles dripping blood. Link then slowly closed his eyes and took a deep breath as if he was all of a sudden relaxed the pain.

"LINK!" Rhett was shocked the sight of links messed up hand and him smiling. "LINK OPEN YOUR EYES GOD DAMMIT!" He shouted in desperation "I'm here.. i'm fine" Link said opening his eyes. Was link in another world? Rhett thought to himself as he opened the glove department to get a cloth. "Gimme your hand link" Link seemed so calm just sitting there staring into space, but when he had links hand, it was uncontrollably shaky. Rhett was so worried, after he wrapped the cloth around Links hand, He drove straight to the hospital.

They eventually found a space in the parking lot, Rhett jumped out the car and ran round to links side opening the door for him, Link snapped out of his weird trance and realising where he was started to panic, "HUH?! N-N-NO I-I-" The words wouldn't come out of his mouth, this time Link was shaking all over his body "LINK! PLEASE WHATS WRONG WITH YOU?! THE DOCTORS ARE HERE TO HELP YOU OKAY I'M HERE TO HELP YOU!! I-i i love you Link!"

" I-i c-can't go they- th- they will take me to a m-mental hospital.. an INSANE ASYLUM!" Link had a stutter as a child/teen but he went to speech therapy and lost it, now it is back but worse than ever and Rhett had not seen Link in this state since his parents divorced.. This was serious.. really serious. "Hey Link what makes you think that?! You're normal, you're just having a panic attack. You WILL get through this, and you're NOT crazy okay!" Rhetts heart ached to see Link in this state, and he isn't even entirely sure how or why Link got this bad.. "what did christy do?!"

"Rhett, y-you don't understand.. there is something w-wrong with m-me! I-i'm weak and pathetic, i'm a disappointment to Christy! She told me her ex was better than her and he's in jail! I also suck at being a good father.. I-i'm JUST LIKE MY DAD! AND I-......." Link was silenced by Rhett's soft lips firmly on his, gently tilting his head to the side, he pulled away.

Link had no words.

"Link, i told you already, i need you.. i love you you're not crazy... i'm crazy for you! And the only thing you are is broken, I will fix you no matter what it takes.

"i-i love you t-too Rhett... I really really love y-you." Thats all Link could say as he started to calm down from the panic attack.
