Holding On

Another 30 mins went by and the therapist finally got link to get up off the floor and his hand had a cast put on it.

Rhett had been biting his nails waiting, and they were all most to the point of bleeding, rhett looked up when he heard a noise, the doors opened, his heart skipped a beat.

"Link!!" rhett couldn't help but jump up off the seat almost run to him.

Link didn't speak, instead he just held out his arms to Rhett, he needed him so much, needed to smell that would always comfort him, the scent of his best friend and the warmth of this tall body.

The nurse and therapist were standing close to him waiting for them to stop embracing each other, it took a while but they stopped hugging and looked at the two people staring at them, rhett still having his arm around his linkster.

They walk over.

"Charles, you need to pick up your prescriptions now please.. It's for your own good." the psychologist said and then links face turned to anger " why did you say that infront of rhett?!!" link was fuming.

"Charles I need you to calm down." the therapist said in a demanding voice. "MY NAME IS LINK NOT FUCKING CHARLES I'M NOT MY FUCKING FATHER!!!!!" Link exploded with rage and Rhett was in shock, not once in his life had he lost his temper like that, he even had to hold link to prevent him from lashing out at the man.

"I'm sorry Ch-i mean-Link, I will never call you that again.. I didn't know. Now, I'm going to leave you with rhett to pick up you prescription, I will see on Monday 10:30am.. Don't be late."  the nurse and therapist walked away.

As soon as they did, Rhett leaned down and kissed him slowly, it was a weird feeling kissing your best friend but then it felt amazing and like it should be natural at the same time. They pulled away gently.

"Link I don't know what the fuck is going on but please please tell me it hurts me to see you suffer like this and whatever it is, I will always love you.. You should know that!" Rhett was so passionate about what he was saying, and link could see that through his emerald eyes.

"i-im not ready yet.. I'm sorry b-but I will tell you I promise!"

Rhett hugged link as a sort of Thankyou for knowing that link wasn't going to keep this to himself forever.

"C'mon, let's go get that percription of your's.. But don't worry I won't ask what it is until your ready" rhett smiled. Link held his hand and they walked down to the collection room and collected the prescription. They got into the car and started driving.
