It's been years since Samurai Jack vanquished the evil Aku. Even with the death of Ashi Jack lives on with more hope of what is to come. In the shadows lurks a new evil that Jack has yet to discover.
"Years have passed, Aku's grasp no longer chokes the past, present, and the future. Through darkness I have found hope" -Samurai Jack Jack and Mad Jack fight each other. They jump through the forest. Jack slashes at Mad Jack. Mad Jack grins and slashes Jack. Jack has had enough. Jack pulls out his sword and stabs at Mad Jack. Mad Jack bursts into thin air. Jack is confused. Jack climbs onto his horse and eventually reaches the end of the forest. Jack reaches a cave he rips off a branch from a tree and makes a torch. Jack and his horse go deep into the cave. Jack is wounded and needs to rest. Jack notices strange engravings on the wall.

Jack is puzzled at these strange symbols. Jack you tries to understand them but even with all of his knowledge he cannot. Jack just shrugs and sits next to his loyal horse and sleeps. The next day Jack and his horse wonder a nearby forest. " This forest isn't as misty as the other right?" Jack's horse neighs in response to Jack's question. Jack's horse stops at a large mountain with a temple on the top. There are stairs leading to the temple. Jack looks at his horse and they both slowly make it up the mountain. Once they enter the temple. Jack hears footsteps."Hello me and my companion mean you no harm". A voice in the distance says "but you do Samurai Jack. You might not know me but I know you. I'm an ancient evil similar to that of Aku. I know of the perils you faced in his future. You're end is near Samurai Jack!" Jack is confused then he walks toward a dark area and bursting in flames appears a devil like creature.

Jack is perplexed at the sight of this devil creature. Jack: How do you know me foul creature. Him: Well Jack I knew Aku and now that you vanquished him I will destroy you. Jack: Well what do I call you? Him: Just simply call me Him. Jack: With the power of righteousness I shall strike you down. Him: Not so fast Samurai Jack. Ninjas appear out of nowhere. Jack is outnumbered. Jack pulls out his sword and slashes at the ninjas. Jack is sweating but tries to keep his cool. He gets on his horse while still fighting the ninjas. Jack and his horse ride down the staircase. Several ninjas follow Jack and his horse. Jack's horse runs quickly and eventually outruns the ninjas. Jack is out of breath. " There is a new evil I must vanquish".
