The storm may be rolling heavy overhead, but only for so long will it persist. So find joy in Him now, even in the thick of it, because you already know that He will bring you out of it.
⠀
Over and over again, God has been faithful in bringing His children out of their storms, and there is no reason to think He will skip over yours. This may be how humans operate; constantly looking for reasons to exclude those who se don't think are deserving for whatever reason, but God is not like that. He has never been like that. Because of His grace, we have experienced His unconditional Love through Jesus Christ that does not exclude you based on your past or where you've been. His Love is not intimidated by what we go through, but goes straight to the eye of the storm and calms it. Whether it's a brief storm of insecurity that washes over you when you're scrolling through social media, whether it's an ongoing storm as you deal with finances or health issues or where you're going to be living, the Love of Jesus is right in the middle, at all times, calming the storm.
⠀
He got up, rebuked the wind and said to the waves, “Quiet! Be still!” Then the wind died down and it was completely calm. - Mark 4:39
⠀
How beautiful it is that He is always moving and His Love persists in our greatest of storms, even when we don't deserve it.
