You don't have to be validated by anyone in order for your gifts and talent to have significance and importance. Even if you don't feel like you can easily identify where you excel or how God will use you, know that there is someone else out there that you've looked at once who feels that way too.
⠀
There is likely a writer, a speaker, or a friend that has really made a difference in your life and they have no idea that they've had that kind of impact on someone.
⠀
You may have been inspired by the words in their Instagram's photo caption and yet, they would never consider themselves to be a writer. ⠀
You may have been blessed by the way they showed love to you in a difficult time and yet, they struggle with feeling loved or knowing how to love themselves.
⠀
You may laughed out loud at something they said that brought you so much unexpected joy and yet, they would never consider themselves to have a great sense of humor.
⠀
You may have looked at someone and said, "wow, they're so beautiful and confident" and yet, they feel insecure about the very things you found worth noting.
⠀
No matter now unimportant or unseen you may feel at times, someone else has thought these things about you, and most importantly, God thinks this way about you. In you He sees His child that she wants His light to shine through. In you He sees someone worth saving and giving Eternal Life. That's why He sent Jesus. So that you could know this to be true:
⠀
In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven. - Matthew 5:16
