Airport Mess

"And now we are on the way to pick up Audrey from the airport after having her be overseas for nearly 3 months. Are you excited to see your girlfriend again Y/N?" Noah asked as he pointed a video camera at you. Your eyes glanced to him before focusing on the road once more.

"Noah who the hell are you talking to?" You ask as you make a turn and he shrugs.

"YouTube. I'll probably make a video out of all these clips and post it because you and Audrey are the most adorable couple I've ever known." He explained with a smile and you shook your head with an amused laugh.

"Yes I'm excited. I'm beyond excited. I haven't seen her in so long, I can't want to hold her again." You rambled with a smile. You then pulled into a parking lot and parked the car before getting out. Noah kept the camera on you as you both exited the car and entered the flower shop. You turned to look at the camera and smiled.

"I'm a sucker for cliché romantic gestures so I knew I had to get some flowers for her." You said which caused Noah to laugh.

"Of course, flowers for the lady. When does she arrive again?" He asked as you bother approached the counter. You glanced at your phone as you tapped on the glass counter nervously.

"30 minutes."

"Hi how can I help you?" The lady at the counter asked with a cheerful smile.

"Hi can I get a bouquet of tulips please?" You asked, knowing they were Audrey's favorite flower. The lady nodded and went to the back to retrieve the flowers.

"So after this we drive to the airport?" Noah asked and you nodded. The lady soon came back and handed you the flowers. You paid and then left, quickly driving to the airport. You tapped your foot anxiously as you drove.

"Noah I need to tell you something." You said and Noah nodded for you to say it.

"Audrey doesn't know that I'm coming to the airport." I said and Noah gasped dramatically as he looked at his camera.

"Holy guacamole what a plot twist." He exclaimed and you laughed at his word choice.

"Audrey thinks that I'm working and that you are gonna take her to my work after you pick her up from the airport." You explained and he smiled at me.

"That is adorable." He said and you laughed.

"Thanks. Sorry I didn't tell you sooner, I just really didn't want it getting back to Audrey." You said and he shook his head.

"Oh don't worry about it." He said as we pulled into the parking lot of the airport. You glanced at your phone again.

"15 minutes." You muttered as you excited the car. You both quickly made your way to where Audrey would be in a few moments.

"So how are we doing this? You just gonna stand there or what?" Noah asked as you paced back and forth. You stopped to look at him.

"Umm..." You muttered as your mind went blank. "No no, I'm going to stand over in that crowd by the door, and she'll be too distracted by you to notice me, then I'm going to come up from behind, and I want you to point out how there's someone behind her." You explained and he nodded.

"Sounds like a plan." He then glanced at his watched and smirked. "5 minutes, better go." He said and you smiled widely. You could not contain the amount of excitement you had. You we're about to see the love of your life and hold her and kiss her for the first time in what seemed liked forever. You were absolutely ecstatic. The butterflies in your stomach were wild and she was the only thing on your mind.

You walked over to this area by the doors where a bunch of seats and other people were, and you sat down. You couldn't look behind you or she might see you, so you carefully waited for her voice.

"Oh my god, Noah." You heard her say after what seemed liked hours. You shut your eyes tightly and took in a deep breath as a wide smile crossed your face. This was it. You stood up and saw her hugging Noah tightly. You began to make your way over, nervously gripping the flowers in your hands. Once you were a few feet behind her, Noah glanced at you and you nodded.

"Damn Audrey, that girl behind you looks exactly like Y/N." He said and Audrey turned without hesitation. Her smiled covered her whole face as she engulfed you in a hug. You dropped the flowers as you tightly wrapped your arms around her waist, her arms around your neck and her face buried into it. Soon you felt tears on your skin and that only caused you to hug her tighter.

Oh how you missed her warm embrace, and her sweet smell; the smell of cinnamon and vanilla. You missed her choppy black hair and gorgeous brown eyes, and you missed her voice that you've lost sleep over countless nights. The sensations were overwhelming and soon you were crying yourself.

The embrace lasted for nearly 5 minutes before she pulled away, only to slam her lips into yours. The kiss was filled with so much passion and love. You missed her so much. She pulled away and wiped her tears.

"Baby, I thought you were working." She said and you laughed.

"Yeah I lied. Surprise." You joked and she laughed before kissing you again.

"Oh I love you so much..." She whispered into your ear as she hugged you again. You picked her up and spun her around.

"I love you too babygirl..."

Personally I really liked this imagine, I thought it was adorable cx
