Glow Dance

"Y/N?" I heard my name called. I snapped back to Brooke from staring at my crush, Audrey.

"What?" I asked, completely lost. Emma and Brooke both laughed.

"Were you staring at Audrey again?" Emma asked and I blushed as I rubbed the back of my neck.

"Maybe.." I muttered.

"You're pathetic, just talk to her." Brooke said and you shook your head.

"Easy for you to say you both are friends with her." You countered.

"And you could be too if you just talked to her." Emma added and you rolled your eyes.

"Here, let me make it easier for you." Brooke said and your eyes went wide. "Auds! Hey!" Brooke shouted loudly, grabbing Audrey's attention. You watched as she looked over at your table and smiled before making her way over here. Your heart began to race and you were sure to shoot Brooke a death glare.

"Hey guys." Audrey said casually as she took a seat next to you.

"Hey Audrey." Emma said and the Audrey looked at you.

"Hey it's Y/N right?" She asked and you nodded as you bit your lip. You were too scared to talk.

"Hey Auds, are you going to the dance tonight?" Brooke asked and Audrey nodded.

"Yeah, are you guys?" She asked looking around at you guys.

"I'm going with Will." Emma said and Brooke nodded.

"Y/N?" Brooke asked and you looked over at her.

"I'm not sure." You managed to mutter.

"Oh come on you have to go." Audrey said and you smiled at her. That was cute.

"Maybe." You said and she laughed.

"You better. You seem cool and I'd like to get to know you better." Audrey said and you got butterflies at that single sentence. She actually wanted to talk to you?

"Okay fine. I'll be there." You said and Audrey smirked at you which made you feel weird.

"Sweet. I'll see you guys there then." She said before leaving. What have you gotten yourself into?

I heavy sigh escaped your lips as you entered the school, already packed with people. How on earth were you going to find anyone? The theme of the dance was a glow dance. Everyone wore white so it illuminated under the back lights and put glow paint on their clothes. You made your way to the paint table and thankfully found Brooke.

"Y/N!" She squealed when she saw you. You laughed as you hugged her.

"Hey B." You said and she began to paint the front of your shirt.

"Hey have you seen Audrey?" You asked as you looked around. You heard Brooke laugh which brought your attention back to her.

"Please, you are not going to talk to Audrey like this." She scoffed before putting the paint down and dragging you off to the bathroom. You looked down at yourself, wondering what she meant.

"Like what?" You said and she didn't answer as you entered the bathroom. She immediately pulled out a flask and waved it around with a smirk.

"Sober. If you're sober, nothing fun with happen." She stated and you laughed as you shook your head.

"No, I get wild when I'm drunk I don't want to do something I'll regret." You countered and she simply laughed.

"Tonight is the night to do stuff you'll regret. Come on. It's fireball, your favorite." She said and you chuckled as she waved the flask in front of you. Fireball was your favorite.

"Fine, a couple drinks." You said as you took the flask and downed what felt like a couple shots at least.

"That's the spirit!" Brooke cheered as she drank some herself. Soon the both of you had finished the flask, and you were already feeling it. You both exited the bathroom, you giggling at nothing. Brooke dragged you to the dance floor and shoved you into the center where you quickly got lost. Loud music was blaring and everyone was glowing from the lights, along with everyone being completely on top of you. You couldn't move hardly at all and there were at least 3 people pushed up against you at all times while the crowd around you jumped up and down to the music. The alcohol was definitely hitting you and decided to let yourself go and get lost in the music and the crowds, dancing all the way.

Several songs passed and you were still dancing wildly, enjoying how good you were feeling. Suddenly you felt two hands on your waist and body begin to grind against you. You turned around and saw some creepy dude and immediately pushed him off.

"Sorry buddy I like girls." You snapped, not even caring that you outed yourself to a stranger. Not many people knew you were gay.

"Whatever." The guy scoffed as he not so gently shoved you into a group of people. You stumbled over your feet at you tried to keep your balance and eventually landed in someones arms. The whole room was spinning but it was fun and you felt great.

"You like girls huh?" You heard the person holding you up ask. You glanced up and jumped in shock when you saw of course, Audrey. Her hair was rowdy, she had paint on her face, and a white shirt that was splattered with paint. She looked so beautiful. You were too drunk for anything right now though.

"That's what I said huh?" You replied as you placed one of your hands on her collar and traced your fingers along her chest. You bit your lip and looked up at her to see her smirking as she pulled you closer to her.

"What a coincidence, so do I." She whispered into your ear which sent shivers down your skin. You turned around and let your body take control, and in a few seconds you were both grinding on each other, lost in each other and the music. You didn't care who was watching, you just loved this feeling. You danced for a few songs before Audrey grabbed your hand and dragged you out of the dance floor.

"Where are we going?" You slurred, the alcohol really hitting you now. You saw her smile warmly at you.

"Outside." Was all she said and in what seemed like a second you two were out in the cool night air, actually being able to breath. She was still holding her hand so you cuddled into her side, enjoying this feeling that as sure to end soon.

"Y/N." Audrey said, grabbing your attention.

"Yeah?" You replied as you looked up at her. You couldn't help but glance down at her lips for what was probably a couple seconds. She smirked as she grabbed the collar of your shirt and smashed her lips into yours. You immediately kissed back as your hands slid down to her waist. Part of you wondered if this was a dream, but it felt too real. After several moments you both pulled away and stared at each other.

"Ready to go dance some more?" Audrey said with a smile. You laughed and kissed her again, pushing her against a wall. She kissed back passionately and slowly, taking in every bit of you. You pulled away and smirked.

"Now I'm ready." You said as you pulled her back inside.
