Niall's POV

After a lot of crying, I finally got Aly to sleep. I looked over at her lifeless body on my bed and I promised myself then and there that I would do everything in my power to find this person that did this to her. Sean and Rob will be put to jail if it's the last thing I do.

I turned on my laptop and faced my back against the wall to hide the screen's light from Aly. It took me almost 2 hours to get her to sleep and I can't have her wake up. I knew that the first step in all of this was to report it to the police which I haven't done yet, but I want to learn more about what we're getting into here.

There was a bunch of stuff saying that I needed to contact and advocate at the local rape crisis center because the police officers will then take the situation more seriously. Then you call the police to report it.

I scrolled through lots of things saying that she needs to be prepared for questions, examinations, all that stuff. After all that, she goes to court with a victim's impact statement. It completely slipped my mind that she'd have to go to court. Ah man, she's going to freak!

I remember Aly once telling me that going to court for her parent's divorce was the worst experience of her life. Well, it's probably the second worst experience now...

She said that it was terrifying. She was shaking a little when she told me the story, actually. That was the day she was split from her mum and her dad got all the custody. Of course, her mother was allowed to see her, but she never did. That divorce was what split Aly from her mum and she said that she never wants to go into a courtroom ever again.

It's going to be a challenge getting her in there, but I'm willing to accept it. If going into that courtroom will get her out of her misery and those bastards in jail, then so be it. Like I said before, I'm going to to everything and anything to get her out of this.

I heard a creak coming from my bed and I glanced up from my laptop to look across the room. She just switched sides and was now lying on her left side. I smiled at her small, fragile body curled up in a ball. I could've sworn I saw a slight smile form on her face but I couldn't be sure since the only light in the room was coming from my laptop.

I placed my laptop gently on my desk and walked quietly over to Aly's sleeping body. I bent down slowly and placed a warm kiss on her forehead before pulling her navy blue blanket up just below her neck. I smoothed over her hair as softly as I could, trying my best not to wake her. With one last look at Alyson, I left the room to go make a phone call to the police and report this crime.

Liam's POV

It was almost midnight and I decided to take a shower before bed. I was tired as f*ck but I don't like sleeping in a clean bed with a dirty body. (Anyone else like that? Comment below!)

I shampooed, washed, dried, and changed into a clean pair of sweats. I grabbed a towel off the rack and finished drying my hair as I walked out into my bedroom. I heard a faint knock on the door and I wasn't exactly sure if I was imagining it or if someone was actually there. I stepped to the door and opened it with one hand using the other to dry my hair some more.

"Oh, hey Charlie." I smiled at her.

"Hey Liam," she waved. "You busy?"

"Nope, I was just about to go to bed. You need anything?" I asked.

"I uh," she paused for a brief moment. She looked...nervous almost? "Can we talk?"

"Yeah," I nodded and stepped aside to let her in.

She filed into my room and I shut the door behind her. I put the towel in the dirty hamper and slipped a shirt over my head. She sat on my desk chair and she was holding a hoodie in her arms. Charlie spun around a bit in the chair but she stopped once it creaked.
