This whole growing up thing is so over rated. Id rather be a kid. Everything so complicated. Everyone expects something different of you. People loose trust when you're older. So much can go wrong so people try to confine you but I'm still a kid. I'm still a kid.
"Bleep Bleep Bleep Bleep"
I slapped the Alarm Clock off my side table. Groaning, I slowly made my way downstairs where my dad was making me breakfast. He passed me a plate of butter pancakes and picked up his lunch box and the red jacket he wore everyday.
"Have a lovely day Midget!"
"Dad I'm 16 now I'm taller than you now!"
"You will always be my Midget! See you tonight, Remember your key!" he said hugging me.
"I will, See you tonight!" I replied standing on my tip toes.
After my dad left for work, I rushed upstairs to curl my hair and throw on some clothes. Grabbing my school bag, I ran out of the house hastily locking the door and took off running for the bus. I only make time for my breakfast. AS I turned the corner I saw the bus pulling up just in time for me to get on.
"Morning! I got you a coffee on my way!
"Cheers Anna!" She is my best friend, has been since I was 9, always got my back she really does!
We got to College. I love it I really do but I only came to be with my friends. Most people go to college to get good grades do courses in order to get a job. I went to college because Anna and Rhys went there. They are both my Best Friends! Everyday they are always there to make me smile. I love them.
"Hi Guys!" It was Rhys running towards us with his quiff haircut bouncing in the breeze.
"Heyyyyy!" Me and Anna shouted across the hallway.
"Where is my Coffee like?"
"Babe just share mine" Anna replied. They have been going out since we were in secondary school. Cute right? Yeah there have almost broken up a couple times I mean it has been 3 years but through thick and thin they have lasted. Im so happy we all went to the same college. First lesson we all have maths. I don't love it but hey its not my worst class I will say that.
"Hey Grace!" Jason said.
I turned round to see him leaning up against the door frame. His emerald green eyes glistened, along with his perfect olive skin, in the light from the window next to him.
"Heyyyy! What's up?" I said confidently.
"Think you forgot something" A smirk plastered across his face showing his white teeth, he held up my purple diary.
I cant believe it! I turned to look at Anna who was still standing on the other side of the hall. We had spent all yesterday searching the school for it! I cant believe Jason found it. I so hope he hadn't read it! Anna was too busy making out with Rhys to notice Jason holding my diary.
"Im so glad someone found it! Didn't want Ashley to find it!" Ashley is the schools bully. Well I say bully but no one really gets bullied in college. Mostly she just makes people look bad. Spreads rumours. A classic mean girl.
"Found it in the English classroom yesterday after class finished. I think you had left already"
"Oh right thanks for bringing it to me!" I know for a fact that me and Anna checked that room.
"See you in class!"
"See ya" I replied.
