That night was horrible. Rhys was taken away into another room and told a doctor they worked with was coming to help him. If they hurt him I will do whatever it takes to get them in prison for the rest of their worthless lives. Meanwhile me and Anna were pushed away into the room we spent last night in for another unending night. We were so close to escaping. Why did they let me keep my phone though? I mean they did ask for it but I said I lost it while we were running when in fact it was under my clothes. Food was now a distant memory. My entire body ached. At least we did get water. I am so scared of what they want from me. I was just an average girl, nothing really important about me. I don't think I've ever been in a lot of trouble. I'm so worried because that woman hasn't called us back into her room. I always try to find a good thing out of any situation. Most of the time there is a reason why people do things. Everyone acts the way others have taught them too. Me and Anna have just been talking about memories we have from when we were younger and what we want to do when we leave school. Dreams. Hopes. Still in our heads. I checked my phone.

'Grace! Are you okay?! Txt me back'

'I'm so worried about you'

'I need you back'

'I had our weekend planned. Just know that I wanted to tell you something but now it's too late'

'I'm sorry'

Jason.

Suddenly, the door creaked open and Rhys was thrown in, his foot in a leg cast along with two crutches. I'm glad we are all together. I hate being on my own although sometimes it is nice, people make you laugh and have fun. There isn't much to laugh about in this situation though. We huddled together and talked for hours.

An average Friday for me is go to college have chips for dinner. My Friday treat! Then when I get home chill out or hang out with friends and then get a dinner takeaway! Perfect but no. I'm sat starving in a freezing room scared for my life. After hours, a knock sounded on the door.

"She wants to see you"

My heart started racing. Was I going to die? My entire body shaking, I gingerly stood up and dragged my legs out the door followed by Anna and Rhys. Sat at her desk looking like she had never moved since the time we last saw her, the women looked up and closed her laptop. Two guards stood either side of the door, their arms folded. I wonder if they came here purposely or if she forced them into helping her in her wicked acts.

"Tried to escape did you yesterday?"

I stayed silent. I can't take this.

"You won't escape till I let you go"

"What do you from us?!" I snapped, glaring at her smug face.

"I told you before you are just here as a threat"

"What do you mean a threat?"

"Well I can threaten to kill you and get what I want from those who love you"

"BLACKMAIL! LET US GO!"

"I don't just threaten to kill. I will." She stared right at me her eyes boring bullet holes in my head. My courage faded. I stood back, staring at the floor. Defeated.

"Oh and if you tell anyone where you are until I release you I will shoot you myself where you stand. Not so snappy now are you?" she laughed. "You need to stay here for the weekend. Think of it as a weekend on holiday"

"Can we have some food?" Rhys asked quietly

"Considering you tried to run away from us, I'm sorry I forgot" she said exaggeratively, rolling her eyes.

"I will let you go soon but in the meantime don't try to run. It's pointless and you will get hurt by yourselves" she mentioned gesturing at Rhys bandaged leg "or by us" she said opening her draw and slamming a gun hard on the table. My heart began racing, I jumped out of my skin. As a deer is stunned by headlights, I couldn't move. I couldn't breathe.

"Out now!"

The guard opened the door pushing us down the corridor and into our cell. There we stayed another night in hell. However we did get a simple meal of rice and chicken. Little did she know that was my favourite meal. Well with mountains of cheese on it is. I'd texted my parents assuring them I was okay and they sent me back concern. Of course they had gotten the police involved but I could tell them where I was else I would be here when they got there.

Finally it was Saturday. What did she need us for? Who was she blackmailing?
