The foot steps grew louder someone was walking around the corner. Frozen with fear, our eyes locked ahead. Grabbing my arm, Rhys dragged me and Anna into the closest room, closing the door just as someone walked round the corner. Silence. No footsteps. No movement. It felt as though time had stood still. As if time had stopped and only I could move. Choosing not to, I hoped with all my might that the owner of the foot steps hadn't seen us. All of this happened in a couple of seconds but it felt like a week had gone by. I want his week to be over and go back to normal. Everything seems to reset on Monday. Whoever was has stopped to question whether they saw the door closing as we dodged out of sight, decided they were seeing things and continued to parade down the never ending corridor. With a sigh of relief I glanced around the room looking for another way out. The room was empty and bland much like the room we were kept in but this one looked like the people had been living here for a long time. Two bunk beds were stood on opposite sides of the small room with dark grey covers on them. Each bottom bunk had two study, wooden chests underneath for belongings as well. This looked like a simple hostel only these people had no intention of leaving any time soon. I walked across the cold wooden floor over to one of the boxes. It had a clip on tie over the side of it preventing it from opening.

"Grace come on we have got to get out of here now!" Rhys said his voice shaking.

"Wait I recognise something about this" I replied opening the box.

"Please I want to go home!" Anna begged, her eyes glazed with fear.

"This is our school tie!" I exclaimed. "What if this is where Luke lives?!"

"Grace someone is coming we have to leave" Rhys urged running over to the window. Luckily we were on the first floor. The window opened easily enough. Helping each other we all climbed out.

"THEY ARE GONE"

"GO AFTER THEM" The woman's shrill voice rang out, chilling me to the bone.

As though a thousand savage dogs were chasing at us, we took off running through the high, thick grass. Although it felt like we were in the middle of nowhere as all we could see was one road which lead to the cracked house, we weren't very far from Rhys house. I hate running. My lungs were getting smaller and smaller, limiting my breath. Gasping for breath, I almost collapsed but kept on going, the sounds of the missile-like bullets engrained into my memory.

Abruptly, Rhys fell into a low ditch, screaming in pain as he hit the ground. Anna and I cautiously ran down the steep slope to him. The grass turned to red as his leg was engulfed in blood. I reached my phone out of my pocket still gasping for air. Anna hugged Rhys as he seethed, the pain throbbing in his leg. She tried to calm him down speaking soothingly, telling him everything would be okay.

"I'm calling Jason."

"Hi Gra-"

"Jason Come quick I think Rhys has broken his leg! Please come quick drive here!"

"Where are you?!" he exclaimed, a worried tone in his voice.

"I will send you the location"

"Ok-"

I hung up my hands shaking I send Jason the location and told him to get here quick. I'm so scared! I can't even stand talking about blood in biology class but when it happens to someone you are really close to it doesn't matter. At that moment in time nothing except them matters. We heard a car in the distance. It must be Jason!

That is not Jasons car! A black Navara pick up with a red feather stained on the side was driving straight at us. It was the people who kidnapped us! How did they find us?! We ran so far but they must have followed us. Maybe we were being tracked?

"Guys there is a car coming and it aint Jason I'll tell you that now. We are being tracked I'm sure of it!"

The car pulled up and I ran over to it hoping to reason with the men in the front seats.

"Please! We don't know what you need us for but one of us has broken their leg and we need to get to a hospital!"

"They will be fine. Get in the car. You've no where to go"

"I'm not kidding! If he wasn't hurt we would be running from you now wouldn't we?!" I screamed at them in frustration.

"Car now" ordered one of the men jumping out of the car and storming towards the ditch the other moving toward me.

I just want to go home! How can life go from being so perfect on Monday to being in the middle of a field getting kidnapped for a second time on Thursday. Things Change.
