"Guys! Jason found my diary! What if he read it?" I announced.
"I'm sure he wont have" Rhys reassured me.
"And if he did he would have read Jason looked amazing in maths class I love his hair!" Anna taunted putting on a lovey dovey voice.
"Shut up! He might hear you! Or do you want me to tell Rhys what you say about him when he isn't here" I jokingly pushing her to the side.
"What do you say about me?!" Rhys exclaimed.
"Oh she doesn't say anything except maybe he looks sooooo hot, I love the shirt he was wearing although I'd prefer him without it on"
"GRACE!" Anna shouted before throwing her lipstick stained coffee cup at me.
"I say the same about her!" Rhys said looking lovingly at her.
"Awww" Anna gushed staring into his eyes as I pretended to throw up.
The bell went and we moved into class. Jason looked at me before sitting down a few seats in front. Yes! The lessons seemed to drag on and on but soon it was lunch time! Best time of the day. I really love going to school, although I hate getting up on a morning, I do love it. I never want to leave. My primary wasn't the best but I got on with most people, or at least I did in secondary school anyway. Things are just a lot more stressful than they were before. We get loads of homework that's for sure. Did you not find that at primary kids basically had nothing to worry about? I certainly didn't. Well after the bullying stopped that's for sure. Growing up was stressful.
"Hi Everyone!" My thoughts were interrupted by a girl with long, brown hair wearing a green shirt and black trousers. She must work for the school then.
"Is everyone having a good day today?"
"Yeah" What does he want? Why is she just asking our table. Im I in trouble?
"We have a new boy coming into our school today. I asked him if he knew anyone who came to this school and he mentioned you guys from secondary school."
"Really? Who is it?" Rhys asked.
"He is called Luke" Thoughts rushed through my head. Luke. Luke used to hang around with us in secondary school. One day he just left the school. No one knew where he went. No texts. No calls. No letter. He just disappeared. We went to his house and it was empty and no car out front. Windows smashed the door looked bashed in. I remember my hands shaking as we called the police. They never found anything. We never found out what happened.
We all looked around gasping.
"Is he really here?"
"When will we see him?"
"He starts tomorrow" the women left and we were left in silence.
"Did you guys hear anything of him after he left?"
"Never. What was the last thing he said to you guys?
"We had a conversation about what college we wanted to go to. He said he would come here with us and then he said bye I will see you again as I got off the bus. I didnt think about the I will see you again at the time but after we foud his house I hoped he was telling the truth"
"He last said that I should do art and follow what I wanted to do not what my family wanted me to do so I did"
"The last thing that Luke said to me was that I should go home and sit in a bin and I said you too"
We all laughed knowing that was something he would have said. Lads will be lads I guess. They weren't the best of friends but they got on for me and Anna. I'm so grateful for that.
"Do you think its really him?"
"I guess we will find out"
