Fluttering open, my eyes adjusted to the light shining into my room. I rolled over and snuggled back down into my warm blankets. Everything felt so good! I was finally home; safe at last! My mind felt calm after what seemed like a lifetime. The sound of short, soft breaths made me roll over confused. A sweet smile spread across my face so much my cheeks hurt. Jason lay next to me; his perfect face sunk delicately on the clean, white pillow, his shaggy hair covering one eye. Jealous of his long lashes, I lay and studied his face. His pink, plump lips moved with every calm breath. I never thought it was possible to love someone this much. Its as if my favourite celebrity I obsess over was there in real life and right in front of me. Calm is how he looked. Jason was perfect.
I don't know how long I stayed just admiring, thinking how lucky I was, and drifting in and out of sleep but thought I should probably check the time. 1 in the afternoon! We'd slept so long!
Last night, we sat up on the roof for over an hour just talking, cuddled up, watching the sunset, keeping warm. I love just sitting and talking to someone. If someone is really close then you can sit and talk to them for hours and never feel awkward. The sky was bright orange. A beautiful gradient from blue to orange it was truly awe-inspiring. I couldn't wipe the smile off my face. He took his arm from around me and turned to face me.
"I know I've done some really horrible things and this entire situation has been extremely hard to deal with. I don't know. I guess I just wanted to say that I've put you through so much and I am sorry more than I can express. Despite all of this, you have been the shinning light that has made me so happy when the situation really couldn't have got worse in any way. Thank you so much! You mean the world to me! Will you give me the honour of calling you my girlfriend?"
"Of course I will to be your girlfriend! I love you! Just don't get me kidnapped ever again!" I said laughing.
The sky glowed and the sun lowered as I made a wish to love Jason always. We kissed as the sun disappeared behind the horizon marking the start of memories to come. <3
All night we had stayed up talking about our families and memories we had as kids. He had such a wonderful, beautiful childhood that was ruined by that devil of a woman. The things he had to do else the threat his parents and family would be attacked were horrific. Then thinking of all the happy moments we had to come we fell into a relaxed sleep.
"Jason..." I whispered softly, leaning into his ear. "Morning"
"Grace?" He flicked his eyes open slowly and looked across at me.
"Afternoon actually its 1 o clock"
He smiled looking at me. "Five more minutes. Don't get up yet. Stay with me!"
"Only for you!" I said laying back down and closing my eyes.
"I just want to stay here. Wish I'd woken up first! How long have you been awake?"
"About half an hour but I'm not sure" I replied.
'm hungry!! He grunted.
"Well sorry but we've missed dinner now haven't we?" I laughed.
We stayed there snuggled up together just chatting and laughing in the sun. That's a perfect moment of pure happiness I will never forget as long as I live.
"Come on! I wanna see if your parents have been found. Aren't you excited?"
His face dropped and my smile disappeared "What's wrong babe? Don't be sad please!" I begged, hating to see him down.
"I'm scared Grace" He said his sad voice low and quiet.
"That's understandable but I'm going to be there to help you always. That stupid women is never coming back. You're free. It's a new life starting with me and your family. We all love you!"
We walked downstairs calling for my parents who seemed to have gone out. Jason found a note on the side
Morning you two!
We have gone out to find out more for Jason and hopefully find his family. Have a good rest and make yourselves some food. We will be back soon with news!!! Have a good day! <3

I could tell that Jason was stressed about everything so I lightened the mood by making breakfast. I could tell that Jason was stressed about everything so Flipping pancakes, not very well I have to say, but it made him smile which was my aim in life.
We heard a car pulling into the driveway. My parents were home... With news. Jason saw the car.
His eyes grew big with worry...
