Emily's POV
"Okay, I'm here now. Let's get this party started!" Liam yelled fist pumping the air and carrying three large pizza boxes. Yummy. Sarah, Carter and Leah trudging behind him and each of them carrying a bag.
"Where should we put these?" Sarah asked holding up her bag, making all the bottles inside it clink. I stood up from my spot on the couch. I was in the middle of telling the story about me falling in the pound when I was little to Jack when our friends came in like they owned the place. I mean I didn't mind it at all because I've told them many times just to come in and not ring the doorbell.
"We should probably put those in the fridge and we can just go and grab one if we want from there." I suggested. I then looked over at the other two. "Guys come in the kitchen and I can give you bowls and plates to put the snacks and sweets in." I said as I walked to the kitchen. "Jack! Get your lazy ass here and help us." I yelled.
"Okay woman. Jeez calm down, would ya?" He laughed and I just rolled my eyes at him.
"Well, now you know where the bowls and plates are, right?" I asked teasing him and he just stuck his tongue at me, but anyway he went and handed them to Carter and Leah and the three of them started sorting them out.
"You open the fridge and I'll pass you the drinks so that we can be done faster?" Sarah suggested and I agreed. I opened the door and Sarah started handing me the sodas first, then the ciders and then she gave me two bottles of vodka.
"What happened to 'we don't usually drink much'?" I raise my eyebrows but put the bottles in the fridge anyway.
"Well we can't play Never have I ever' with ciders, now can we?" She asked winking. I just giggled and went back to the living room, where Liam was getting the pizzas ready for us to pig out on.
"Want any help?" I asked nodding towards the pizzas.
"No, I'm almost done." He says with a smile. "Plus how am I supposed to stop you from eating it all?" He joked and I smacked his chest playfully, laughing as I did so.
"Storytime." Leah says as they all come back from the kitchen. I sit in the middle of the couch, Jack, Carter and Liam on my right and Leah and Sarah on my left. The couch was in an 'L' shape so it had room for everyone to sit and be able to take anything from the snacks and the cupcakes, which we actually were able to finish on time.
"You guys know my friend Ashley, right?" They all nod their heads and I take that as a sign to continue. "Well, recently she's been hanging out with some other people, shutting me out completely." I tried to swallow the bile forming in my throat. No! I can't cry! I'm stronger than that! I thought to myself and ignored the stinging in my eyes. "Today I decided to tell Tyler that I like him." I didn't bother going into too much detail because they knew about my crush on him. "He said that he's moving with his family and things between us won't work. I somehow accepted it, but I still feel numb for some reason. Nevermind that, when I was walking to study hall, I saw Ashley practically throw herself at him and kiss him." Well, that seemed to shock them. Yeah, welcome to my world. The image of the both of them flashed in front of my eyes and I was barely able to hold it together. "That was why we were fighting in the cafeteria." I croaked as a traitor tear rolled down my cheek. Then another one and another one and before I knew it I was bawling my eyes out crying.
