Guys, I don't know what happened with this chapter. I updated it this Wednesday from my phone but seems like something went wrong. I'm sorry!
Emily's POV
As we entered the fast food restaurant, we were asked whether we prefer a table or a booth by a waiter.
"A booth would be nice," Jack replied and winked at me. He knew that I hated the normal tables because the chairs were always so uncomfortable.
When we were seated at a booth near the back of the place, a waitress came to us.
"Hello. My name is Stacy and I'll be serving you tonight," She introduced herself as she gave each of us a menu and made sure to touch Jack's hand as she handed him his menu and batted her eyelashes at him.
What the fuck???
Couldn't Stacy see that we were on a date? Okay maybe I was kinda overreacting but honestly, can you blame me? Not to mention that I was and still am the jealous type. Like girl, that's my boy so back off!
"Would you like something to drink?" She asked again barely looking at me as she turned all her attention towards Jack. To say that I was seething would've been a misunderstanding.
"Babe, what are you going to have?" Jack turned to me with a weird glint in his eyes. Oh, and you know what? Fucking Stacy didn't drop the act. What else did she want us to do so that she stopped trying to flirt with Jack? To be honest Jack didn't really pay her any attention but I was still royally pissed off.
"Hmm..."I trailed off, pretending to think. "I'd like a Coke and I'd like you to stop flirting with my boyfriend." I finished with a fake sweet smile at the bimbo.
"Make that two Cokes," Jack added while I was too busy shooting daggers at Stacy. The blonde quickly wrote that down and scurried off after mumbling a barely audible "Coming right up."
"Sooo... I'm your boyfriend now?" Jack smugly asked and then smirked at me.
"Hey, that Stacy girl was getting on my nerves and I wasn't having it!" I exclaimed, immediately defending myself.
"She didn't do anything to you though," The smirk didn't fall off his face even when he pretended that he didn't know what I was talking about.
"She was flirting with you!" I whisper-yelled, not wanting to grab the attention of the other people in the restaurant.
"Did you see me flirting back?" When I shook my head he continued "So then what's the problem?"
"I'm jealous." I quietly said.
"What was that?" He cupped his ear leaning towards me with that stupid smirk now bigger than before.
"I'm jealous okay!" I shouted, no longer caring about the other customers.
"Babe," He stood up from his seat across the table and sat next to me, "I have eyes only for you. I'm in love with you and I don't want any other girl. I want you. I wanted to do that at the end of the night but I guess now is a good time too." My heart fluttered at his words and my eyes watered a bit. I was never such a crybaby jeez. He took my hands in his and looked me straight in the eyes. "Emily Jones, will you be my girlfriend?" A hopeful smile had replaced the smirk and he just couldn't look more adorable.
Instead of answering him, I lunged myself at him and kissed him. His tongue licked my lower lip, asking for permission and I immediately parted my lips. Our tongues danced together for what seemed like hours but were probably mere minutes.
"I'll take that as a yes then," Jack said when we finally broke the kiss.
"That was a definite yes babe," I interlaced our hands together and leaned into him.
