3 years later..

Your POV

I put the last piece of cloth on my baggage and readied myself to leave. I looked at my wrist watch.

3:00am.

It was two hours before my departure so I still have an ample time.

I felt someone walked inside the room for I heard the door made noise as it was being opened. I didn't need to look to know who it was.

"Are you sure you don't want to wake-"

I looked over my shoulder and saw my man.

"No, Joon Woo. Don't wake her up." I responded. I zipped my bag close and extended the handle to roll it to the floor behind me.

Joon Woo has been with me through my darkest journeys. My life became more peaceful and euphoric when he decided to be my lifetime companion.

"Do you want me to drive you to Incheon?" He kindly offered as he helped me pick up my things.

"No, you don't have to. Who would take care of our baby if you leave?"

Joon Woo was the one to put the puissance to my already breaking fiber of hope. He even introduced me the most precious gift a woman could ever have.

Motherhood.

I can still picture inside my head the moment Joon Woo wrapped his arms around the sensitive new born angel the time I gave birth. My husband smiled at the baby so dearly I teared up. Joon Woo holding our baby for the very first time was the most beautiful scenery I have ever seen.

I walked to the doors and got startled with the tiny figure in front of us.

"You are leaving again, eomma?" The little fluffy cloud stood at the door frame as she rubbed her right eye with her cute little fingers, a sign that I interrupted her sleep.

I approached her and bend down to level her height as I brushed her morning hair.

"Baby, eomma needs to work. Don't worry, your appa will take care of you." I smiled at her.

"Can't eomma just stay?" She said with a pout. She looked so cute that I almost dropped the idea of leaving.

"I will be back in three days. Eomma will take home a loooot of toys. I promise." I said, gesturing my hands as I pronounced the word 'a lot' to convince her.

"Okay." She smiled. A smile I would never grow tired of seeing. I could still remember her first chuckle, first cry, first walk. Joon Woo and I were there to witness it all.

They accompanied me to the gates and waved me goodbye as I turned the ignition on and roared my car to life. I looked at my side mirror just to see Joon Woo and our baby still waving their hands until I got far enough not to see them anymore.

I sighed.

My phone rang while I was in the middle of the road so I answered it through wireless connection.

"Hello, Maam?" I answered as soon as the call got connected.

"Miss (y/n) we will be needing you here at 6:00am tomorrow.." A female voice said as she continued to inform me about my duties for the event. I just responded polite yes here and there until the call has ended.

I am now an on- call staff and event organizer and yes, I already resigned at my filthy little previous job years ago. It was a big adjustment for me but all thanks to my Joon Woo.
