Provoked

A/N: I felt motivated so here is an update :))

Namjoon's POV

I woke up and the first thing I did was to check (y/n) in my bed but instead found an empty space. I was dumbfounded. She left without a trace.

I went to Yoon Gi's room to talk to him about what happened last night but I just found his room empty. As I roamed around the room, I found trashes of paper scattered on the floor. I went to his table just to see a crumpled paper containing unfinished song but I think Yoon Gi tried to reconsider it for it was neatly placed. I shrugged. I was about to completely ignore his messy room when my eyes caught a folded paper partly slid inside a notebook beside Yoon Gi's desktop.

I am always suspicious. My curiosity didn't let me to just ignore it so I picked the small paper up and opened it. I was taken aback.

What the hell is this?

The paper contains basic information of (y/n) from name, address, phone number..

What is this for? Is he stalking (y/n) or something like that? But why? I took the paper and put it in my pocket.

I went to the living room to find the boys having their quality time. Taehyung and Jungkook was playing xbox while the others were watching a movie. Manager- nim has given us ample time to relax, probably a short break because the next few weeks will be a very hectic schedule for us.

I placed both of my hands in my pocket as I approached them. They all turned in silent mode.

"Where's Yoon Gi hyung?" I asked. It took them few minutes to answer.

"Hyung left early in the morning but still hasn't come back yet." Jungkook answered.

"I saw him left even before the sun rise. I wonder where he went." Jimin said as Hoseok nodded in agreement.

"He always do that. He wants to be alone, I guess." Jin said.

"Tae is mad." Taehyung responded without even looking at me. He was still upset at me.

I sighed. I sat on the sofa and joined them.

"Tae." I started. "What would you do if you saw your lion stuffed toy drowning?" I asked him.

"I would jump and drown with it! We promised to stick together no matter what! Til death do us apart! Yes, sir!" Taehyung said wiggling his index fingers with a serious face.

"Airhead." Jungkook spat.
"He's hopeless." Hoseok added.
"I know." Jimin agreed.

I face palmed. I saw Jin shutting his eyes as he took a deep breath.

Hours had passed. It was already midnight and Yoon Gi hasn't arrived home yet. Jin was starting to worry.

"Have you called Yoon Gi, Jungkook? I told you many times already. Right? " Jin said, a little impatient.

Jin tried calling Yoon Gi but the latter wasn't picking up his phone. He thought that if Jungkook will be the one to call, Yoon Gi might answer.

"Err.. Hyung, I ran out of load?" Jungkook replied, scratching his head with his index finger.

"Where the hell did your salary go that you don't even have a load?!" Jin responded frustratedly.

"I bet our maknae has been on phone the whole day talking to Lei that he had no time calling Yoon Gi hyung." Jimin teased.

"You were eavesdropping us, weren't you?" Jungkook looked at Jimin with his eyes squinted.

"He was." Taehyung laughingly said, still with the controller.

"Jagiyah~ don't skip meals. Jagiyah, sleepwell. Jagiyah, saranghae~" Jimin said with an overly sweet voice probably mimicking Jungkook's while talking to the girl.

"Lei who? You have a girlfriend, Kookie?" Jin asked.

"I- I don't! Lei is just.." Jungkook struggled for words. His cheeks turned bright red.

"Kookie has a girlfriend, Kookie has a girlfriend, Kookie has a girlfriend~" Jimin sang while dancing happily teasing Jungkook even more. He ran upstairs giggling.

"Come back here!" Jungkook shouted as he chased Jimin.

Jin sat at the sofa and rested his elbows on his lap massaging his temples. "Those morons are adding up to my problems." he said.

"Hyung, should I tell Manager nim?" Hoseok asked, looking at me as if waiting for my permission. "What if he is dealing with sasaengs right now?" Hoseok too, was now worried.

"No, call Yoon Gi first. Yoon Gi's grown up. Don't call Manager- nim and make a ruckus out of this." I said calmly.

Hoseok nodded and fished for his phone on his pocket. He dialed Yoon Gi's number and put the phone on his ears at the exact time the guy we were looking for entered the house.

Jin immediately stood up. "Why are you home so late? Where have you been? Have you eaten?" he asked.

"Traffic. Nowhere. Yes." Yoon Gi answered nonchalantly and went straight to the kitchen.

Jin was about to say more but then I put my hands on his shoulder signalling him that I will handle this. He nodded.

I looked at Hoseok and Taehyung. They immediately got my message and went to their rooms. I followed Yoon Gi in the kitchen.

He was standing by the fridge. He took out a pitcher of water then drank directly to it.

"If Jin hyung caught you drinking that way, you will have to face a ten paged back to back sermon." I said as I leaned at the kitchen's door frame. He looked at me.

"What do you want?" Yoon Gi asked me irritatingly.

"What is your business with (y/n), hyung?" I said bluntly.

He seemed surprised but immediately answered. "Why do you care?"

"Don't make an impulsive move, Yoon Gi hyung. Many eyes are watching us. Medias are everywhere. Just consider the group and our image. Just think about the other members." I said a little intense but with a hint of concern.

"I know what I am doing. I am not a kid anymore and for your information, I am older than you." He spat.

"I am just thinking about the group, hyung." I answered him.

"Are you really thinking about the group, or perhaps you just don't want (y/n) near me?" Yoon Gi responded.

"What are you talking about?" I said, getting the hint of what he will say next.

"Don't worry, if you are afraid losing another girl over me.. it won't happen. Cause I know (y/n) isn't yours to start with." Yoon Gi answered. I balled my fists inside my pocket.

I need to compose myself.

"May I remind you, hyung. I didn't lose Jae Hi over you. It's just that this group is much more important to me more than anything." I said.

"Oh really? Keep your words, kid." He said before leaving me.
