I survived the thinning

Part 1: 2 weeks until the thinning

Laina POV:

My phone started ringing like a minute ago. I ran into the kitchen, grabbed my phone, and answered it. "Hello?" "Hi Laina. It's me, doctor precosh calling regarding your mother." "Yes. Hi. Is something wrong?" I said. "Yes Laina... your mother... She passed away last night. We didn't want to call you sooner because it was really late and your second to last thinning is coming up."

I dropped my phone and fell to the ground. I sat there and began to cry. Corinne came running downstairs and said " what's wrong sissy? Is here something wrong with mommy?" I nodded and signaled her to come over. She sat down beside me and I grabbed a hold of her hand. I said sadly "mommy's in a better place now baby. It's just you, me and Joey now."

Blake POV:

I sat down at the table with my girlfriend Ellie, and pulled out my books. I was going to study but Ellie grabbed my hand and said "I have something to show you..." We walked out side and into a car. I sat down in the passenger's seat and she got in the driver's seat. We drove for about half an hour and then came to an abrupt stop. We got out and Ellie began to strip. I smirked but she said "no you idiot there's a pool."

Ellie POV:

I smiled and began to strip. He smirked but i said " no you idiot there's a pool." I grabbed a hold of his hand, led him up to the pool and jumped in. He slipped his shirt off and chucked his shorts at a chair. He jumped in and grabbed a hold of my waist and pulled me under. I smiled and came back up. All of a sudden I see the owner of the pool run out of his house. "Blake!" I whisper yelled. I pointed towards the guy and Blake said "run."

Laina POV:

I hugged Corinne and tucked her in. My mom usually did that but now she's... I walk into Joey's room and see that he's already asleep. I cover him with his blankie and walk out. I go downstairs, grab my books and begin to study. I usually don't study but now I have to. If I fail the test, they'll kill me and Corinne and Joey will be separated. I can't let that happen.

Blake POV:

As we run back to the car Ellie trips and falls. I run back, pick her up and get in the car. She sits up, straddles me and begins to kiss me. I kiss her back and it turns into a full out make out session. I run my hands down her back and eventually they end up on her lower end. All of a sudden I hear a knock on the window. I look out and see the guard that someone hired to take care of me. He says "She sure as hell don't look like no text book"
