Chapter 10

Lauren stares up at the colorful blanket, trying to figure out if she just imagined that or if Camila actually said it. That's all she could think about as she drifts off into sleep.

"Lolo, Kaki," Lauren hears someone yell. She sits up to see a mini Camila in her face.

"Hi, Lauren. I was supposed to come wake you and Kaki up," Sofi explains practically in Lauren's lap.

"I'll wake Camz up and then we'll spend the whole day together, just you and me okay," Lauren suggest knowing she won't see the small girl as much once school starts. Sofi nods her head happily before getting up and skipping into the house. Lauren turns to look at her peacefully sleeping girlfriend.

"Camz, baby. It's time to get up," Lauren says softly. She starts to press little kisses all over Camila's face. She finally sees a smile spread onto the other girl's face meaning she's awake. Camila opens her eyes as Lauren stops the affection.

"You forgot one place," Camila says smiling.

"Where," Lauren ask. Camila points to her lips which makes Lauren smile widely before leaning in and giving her a toothy kiss on the lips.

"I love you, Lolo," Camila says as they pull apart. Lauren stands still, not believing she just heard that.

"What?" Lauren mumbles out.

"I love you. Was I not supposed to say that? You said it last night, so I thought it would be okay," Camila ask confused.

"Camila, are you sure that you love me," Lauren ask, just completely shocked.

"Yes, you make me happy. And as Dinah would say, you make me get butterflies. I don't know what that means, but she always says it's how you know you love someone," Camila explains, grabbing Lauren's hand.

"I love you," Lauren says with a wide smile. She then proceeds to lean in and kiss Camila. You'd think after awhile it wouldn't be as amazing as the first. But it is. This kiss was filled with so much love and affection, it was better than any other kiss Lauren has ever had.

"Karla," Sinu yells from the backdoor making the two break their kiss.

"She knows I hate that name," Camila says with a frown on her face. Lauren kisses her forehead comfortingly before they walk to where Sinu is standing.

"Sinu, I hope it's okay with you if I take Sofi out today," Lauren says as they stand in front of the older woman.

"Of course. Is Camila going too," Sinu ask making both of the girls look at Lauren.

"I told Sofi it'd just be just me and her if Camila's okay with that of course," Lauren says looking towards her girlfriend.

"Of course it is," Camila says as she smiles widely at the fact that Lauren wants to spend time with her sister. Lauren kisses her cheek lovingly.

"Okay well lets eat some pancakes before you two head out," Sinu says to Lauren. The three walk into the kitchen to see Sofi scarfing down pancakes left and right.

"Slow down, Sofia," Sinu says sternly to her youngest daughter. Sofi does as she's told as she watches Camila and Lauren get breakfast.

"You need some help there, Camz," Lauren laughs as she watches her girlfriend try to scoop a pancake up. Camila looks at her before giving up and moving out of the way.

As soon as the girls all finish their breakfast Sofi and Lauren are off for the day.

"Where are we going today, Lolo," Sofi ask, practically bouncing in her seat.

"Well first we're going to my house so that I can change and stuff, and you can play with my little sister, Taylor. Then I figured we'd go to the zoo and who knows after that," Lauren tells Sofi. Sofi nods before turning up the music and singing along. They reach the Jauregui household and walk inside.

"Taylor," Lauren yells loudly. The younger sister comes jumping down the stairs. Lauren introduces the two girls and then goes to her room to start getting ready. Just as she starts to take her shirt off to shower her phone starts ringing. She looks to see her girlfriend calling and picks it up.

"Hello?"

"Hi, baby."

"What're you needing, Camz"

"Just wanted to let you know that you need to have Sofi back by 3, so we can go on a date."

"Oh a date? I didn't know we were going on one tonight."

"Of course we are silly. It's Friday, we always go on dates on Fridays."

"Mhm, okay babe. I love you."

"I love you more."

Lauren rolls her eyes at her girlfriend for hanging up on her. Lauren continues to get the rest of the way undressed before stepping into the shower. She took a quick shower and just put on some clothes before going to find her sister and Sofi. She finds them in Taylor's room playing dolls.

"Where's Chris and mom," Lauren ask as the two start to pick up their mess.

"Doctors, it's that time of the year," Taylor says sighing sadly.

"It's gonna be okay, Tay," Lauren says reassuringly. She gives her sister a quick hug before looking at the smaller one.

"Are you ready to go, koala," Lauren teases because Sofi is practically clinging to her leg. Sofi nods before running downstairs.

"Alright, bye Tay. Be good," Lauren teases. All Taylor does is roll her eyes before getting in her phone. Lauren jogs to catch up to the mini Camila who has apparently already rushed to the car. Lauren gets in the car and starts it.

Let's get this day started.

Okay so this chapter isn't very long and it also sucks, but I just haven't had time to write. I knew I need to post something though, so here's a little filler chapter. And we're now up to over 5k reads and I'm low key flipping out because even though it's not a lot it's still a lot ya know? So thanks guys, comment whatever like always :))))
