i took a deep breath before sliding to the driver's seat. i'm nervous more than i cared to admit. this isn't my first time dating, and i've always been confident being on one but there's something about dan that makes my heart do the flippy over thing.

if i'm being honest, i started having a crush on dan on year 10. we stopped talking by that time but i still take joy just by looking at his adorable face. he's so timid and will always avoid my gaze when he catch me looking at him. i will not-so-subtly stare at him for too long during vacant time and pj noticed it too, and said that i look like a creep, staring at dan whilst grinning.

but can you blame me? that boy is just so beautiful and he doesn't even realise it.

i took a deep breath before starting the engine.

i stood before the door to dan's house and i've been kinda just staring at the wooden surface for five good minutes. the strangers walking by must've though that i'm weird.

so after a few seconds of debating with myself wether or not i should knock or just text dan, i finally knocked on the door thrice.

"coming!" i heard a muffled voice through the door.

before i knew it, dan's in front of me, hair still wet and curly from the shower, cheeks flushed, wearing white tank top that became a see-through because of his still wet torso and sweatpants that hung too low on his hips but i most definitely didn't notice that.

"hey," i said

"gosh, i'm so sorry i just got out of the bath and—ah, why don't you come in?" he opened the door a little wider so i could enter and i complied easily.

he gestured for me to sit on the couch and asked if i could wait for a little bit to which i said yes and offered him a smile.

"sorry, i'll be quick. promise." he returned the smile, albeit a bit timidly and rushed up to take the stairs.

well, that was interesting...?

grae: hi, i'm still a bit busy with our thesis because our professor wants our group to submit 100 related literature for our variables. life is amazing.

but i found time to update!! i was going to make this longer but realised that i want the entire date to be in dan's pov. so, sorry if u want phil's pov instead!
