Andy's advice I took to heart, but Maddie backed off. She never came closer than ten feet to me. It didn't stop her evil glares though, but I could live with those. I'd gotten glares on a regular basis when we were in school and even at my old job. Never been very favorable with other women.

Andy had gone missing again. The last time I saw him was when he'd cleaned my hand, which was nearly a week ago. My guess was that he was gone on another assignment.

It seemed like he was the only one who ever went away for long periods of time. It didn't seem like Ashley or Jinxx ever left, or even Jake. Maybe it wasn't their area of expertise? Not that I knew what any of them actually did yet other than CC. Maybe it wasn't that the other guys didn't leave, it's just I never noticed when they did because my brain only ever seemed to be on Andy.

I tried to focus on other things, but it was hard. I swore I could still feel the warmth of his hand when he touched my knee and the sensations that ran through my body. Which is absolutely pathetic on my part, but for some reason I was stuck on it. It's like my brain was in a rut. It had permanently engrained all the feelings to trigger when I thought about him. So basically my body was stuck being sexually frustrated.

We'd switched up training again. CC deemed us all able to continue on and we began class work. The class work ranged from what to do during a hostage situation to how to hot wire a vehicle. CC thought this to be almost more important than the physical portion.

Knowing how to assess situations and how to get out of them safely and quickly. Safety being the most important of the two. CC instructed us to do something I found rather shocking. He told us if we are ever in over our heads, pull back and get out.

"Don't be a hero and risk yours and potentially your teammates lives. There is always another way to accomplish the mission."

It honestly shocked me. I figured the mantra would've been something more military style. More badass sounding I guess. Something like, "Completing the mission is the main goal, casualties happen, don't be one." Or something to that affect. It made the gang more like family. You're not just a weapon in their eyes.

I was doing well with the class work, as was Lotus. The only issue I did have was with the hot wiring. On paper I did fine, but when it came to actually preforming it, I got juiced.

Electricity and I are not friends and after the first time getting shocked I was super nervous about trying again. Which then resulted in me getting zapped repeatedly. Supposedly the lawnmowers we were starting with was the easiest thing to get a feel for. I begged to differ.

For Tony and Taylor, this was their element. They got recruited for doing this shit. They had the damn thing running in seconds. Claimed they could do it blinded folded, CC wouldn't let them try. I would've put a bet down on that one.

Tony offered to give me pointers, which of course I accepted. Mostly because he knew what the hell he was doing but it also got me some male attention. Maybe get some control on my constant frustration. Maybe get me some release.

"All you have to do is override the ignition and cross the positive and negative wires." Tony showed me once again and the engine powered up. He kept repeating the same thing but I wasn't getting it.

We were sitting in the room delegated as our classroom. Our schooling was technically over for the day but Tony had stayed with me to help me practice.
