You know I talk too much
Honey, come put your lips on mine and shut me up
We could blame it all on human nature
Stay cool, it's just a kiss
Oh, why you gotta be so talkative?
I talk too much, we talk too much

He wouldn't shut up. Not that she minded but it seemed like he didn't know how to talk about anything other than werewolves and murder scenes.
"So I was looking it up and did you know banshee's actually used to sing for the death of a family member?" Stiles looked down at the girl for response so Lydia said she hadn't heard that which launched him into a whole other ramble. They made it to his jeep in the school parking lot but didn't get inside. Stiles leaned against the hood while Lydia lazily listened to him, half interested at this point as she examined their fellow classmates leaving school for the day.

"– and while I was reading all of this I couldn't help but think maybe there's a certain stance you can take that'll push the sound of your scream further– Lydia? Lydia are you listening to me?" He called her name. She turned back to him with raised brows to suggest she hadn't heard what he had been saying at all. Rolling his eyes, Stiles dropped his backpack to the ground and stepped toward the girl. "Relax, I'm going to move you around." He instructed, dropping her own bag to the ground for her. Next, he made her spread her legs a little, kicking at her heels with his beat up sneakers to signify she needed to move them. After that he lifted her left arm and right arm into position until he seemed satisfied with his work.
She laughed while he studied her. "I look stupid."
He smiled, taking a step back to make sure he had put her in the right places. "You look fine, be quiet I'm trying to do something here."

He was in front of her again, gently bending her arm this way and that until he seemed finished again. "Okay. So once you're like this, your normal scream won't typically work if you push more from your lungs than from your stomach." She hoped he hadn't seen her flinch. Because she had. Big time. His hands were at her waist, thumbs pressing into certain points on her stomach. She dropped her arms, looking down to where he was holding her. "From right here. Apparently as long as you are the way you were, it doesn't matter how hard you scream, you could split someone's skull in half from thirty feet away. That's pretty fucking cool. Well besides the fact you do look kind of dorky standing like that."

Lydia pushed forward and kissed him. She couldn't help it. He was too beautiful and kept rambling on about unrealistic theories, the kind that made her cheeks hurt from grinning so much. It felt like she had been waiting forever to kiss him. She took her time to pull back, keeping her eyes closed until she heard his voice.
"Does murder turn you on or something?" He chuckled. It surprised her, the confidence in his voice and she took a step back from him to register what she had just done.
"Oh my god." She clasped a hand over her mouth, remembering they were only friends. "I didn't really mean to, I mean, it's not like I had that planned or anything but you just kept talking and talking and I think it's so cute when you start telling me all your little theories. And I definitely didn't just call you cute but I love it when you tell me things I didn't even know about myself, like all the banshee stuff, cause you're so smart and–" he cut off he rambles by crashing heir lips back together. Making a little noise of surprise, Lydia was quick to kiss him back and a little disappointed when the kiss had ended.
"You talk too much." He smiled.
"I talk too much?"
"Fine. We talk too much."
