The shooting range... A place where everyone could easily get rid of any anger left in their body, not that they should tho.... And not that I needed it for that reason, Nate had gotten me out of the post-rune-state so even the tension was gone. I entered the hall. Several stalls with little counters for ammunition, safety goggles and earplugs. I grabbed a handgun, some fitting ammunition and safety equipment. My focus changed in a matter of milliseconds. From calm to deadly. My eyes, normally almost black, started to glow like coals. My hands loaded the gun and aimed quicker than the eyes could follow. The first holo of a hellhound went down as soon as it spawned. I felt the recoil shooting through my arms. A tingling sensation started in my stomach. More holograms, more shots. Aim at 100%. No bullets wasted. No more ammo, reload. Aim, shoot. Repeat. A few minutes later the program ended. I let out a shuddering breath as the fire died in my eyes. I put down the gun and left the hall. I didn't need to have a look at my results. They never changed.

I grabbed my stuff and left work. I had another date with Nate. The way home felt longer than normal. I was nervous, I had to admit. Even though this wasn't our first date, my hands were shaking. I bit on my thumb, trying to calm down. A monotone voice announced my station. I got up and headed home. A few minutes later, I inserted my key into the lock and it opened with a snapping sound. I checked my mailbox, nothing, and opened the door to my appartement. I stood in front of the mirror for a few minutes, looking at myself. What the hell was I supposed to do? I looked like a mess! I groaned. Then I opened my closet to have a look at my choices. Well, it was January, still cold and everything so I should wear something... warmer? I didn't wanna come over as weird. A pair of Jeans, a black Top with a blue Hoodie. Then a Leather jacket on top. I always wore that jacket, it was so comfortable!

My bell rang. "Holy maccaroni!", I jumped and opened the door. "Alex! Hey, is everything okay?", Kathrine asked carefully. I groaned again. "Yeah, I'm just getting ready for a date and I still have so much time left, it's driving me crazy!" She laughed. "Oh, honey! You know, you can always come over, right? I'd be happy to spend some time with you." I smiled at her. "Thanks, Kathrine. Would you mind me coming over now?" A chuckle. "Not at all! And please call me Kathy, Kathrine sounds so formal..."

I grabbed my handbag that I had prepared half an hour ago and locked my door behind me. Kathy opened her door and I stepped in. It looked so comfortable! The appartement was bigger than mine, had a few rooms; a living room with a TV, a Couch and a nice table, a little kitchen with everything a heart could desire, a bedroom with a wooden bed and a little bathroom. "Wow! This looks great!", I proclaimed. Kathy smiled at me and went into the kitchen. "Go and make yourself a home. I'll be there in a second." I stepped into the living room. On the walls were a few drawings of a child, on the table were two cups of tea, freshly made. I chuckled. Suddenly my mouth began to water and Kathy stepped into the room. "Want some Cookies?"
