Kenna's POV
The bunker's dungeon was dark and cold.
Sam left me with a pillow and blanket on the floor.
He told me he'd be back early in the morning so that we could leave to get the blood tested as soon as we could.
The sooner it was confirmed that I was his daughter the sooner I would be out of this dingy room.
I couldn't tell what time it was when I had woken up.
There was only a slit of light that seeped into the room from under the metal door.
The gleam was in no sense comforting.
I had left my warm mattress and my family just to sleep on the floor of my alleged fathers dungeon.
If I wanted to.
I could snap my fingers and leave this room.
Leave the bunker.
That would seem shady, and the last thing I need is Dean on my family's tail.
Plus, this trap seems to be a mystical dampener of some sort.
I could walk out of it, but magic might not work.
Even if I was able to bust out of the room I probably wouldn't get far with the Winchester's on my dick.
In the middle of my thoughts I saw a pair of feet step in front of the doorway creating two circular silhouettes on the ground.
I heard keys being jangled and then the loud creak of hinges.
Light flooded the room, blinding me.
"Good morning, Kenna. I'm so sorry Dean made you sleep in here. Let's make you some breakfast. Then get you a shower and into some clean clothes."
I nodded and took his hand as he led me into the study where Dean sat eating pancakes next to a man wearing a tan overcoat and the bluest eyes I'd ever seen.
The man was staring off into space until he noted my presence.
"Sam. This is your...how did you find her?"
The mans voice was low and scratchy.
Sam's eyes squinted.
"Cas...what are you talking about?"
Sam was playing dumb. Obviously.
"Well. The angels knew about Kenna as soon as she was born. We kept close watch on her. Unfortunately none of us ever told you because we had orders to keep it a secret. Being truthful, I didn't think you would care, so I never mentioned it."
When 'Cas' mentioned angels, I figured he must be Castiel.
The angel that was assigned to watch over the Winchester brothers, I read the books.
Sam seemed to get infuriated with Cas.
Suddenly Dean pipes up.
"Well. I guess there's no need for a blood test."
Sam seemed to relax at Dean's comment.
I decided to get rid of some of the tension.
"My name is Kenna Bishop, but I'm guessing you already knew that. Castiel, I presume?"
Cas was almost hesitant to take the hand I outreached for him.
"Yes, I am Castiel. How would you know that?"
He asked giving me a very confused look.
"I do my research."
Castiel shrugged and turned his attention back to nothingness.
Sam cleared his throat.
"Kenna. I can show you to a bedroom where you can shower and change. After we can go out to eat or something."
Dean made a grunting noise.
"Yes. I'm starving."
I looked down at him in confusion.
"I just saw you eat three pancakes in two minutes flat. How can you possibly be hungry?"
Dean rolled his eyes as if I had said something absolutely outrageous.
"Don't ask stupid questions."
I shrugged and followed Sam to a room with a single bed, a nightstand, and a closet.
There was also a bathroom connected to the room, which was incredibly convenient.
"This is definitely an upgrade from the dungeon floor."
I said with a smile.
He smiled back at me.
"Go ahead and head to the library once you're ready, Kenna."
I nodded and smiled as he closed the door.
I noticed that my things were placed in the corner of the room.
I picked out an outfit and laid out my basic makeup on the bed for once I was out of the shower.
I dressed myself in a white t-shirt, jeans, and brown combat boots.
I let my hair air dry while I applied light makeup.
I looked at myself in the mirror, contemplating if I had made the right decision leaving.
But, what did I have to lose?

Sam's POV
Kenna walks into the room, fresh as a daisy and ready to roll.
I smile at her and grab my wallet.
I toss Dean the keys and was about to head out the door when-
"Hey, Kenna, its cold out. Wear this. I don't know if you care for flannel, but it'll keep you warm at least."
Dean hands Kenna one of his flannels.
Me and Kenna seemed to wear the same flabbergasted expression.
"Wow. Thanks Dean."
She takes it and shrugs it on.
It fits her big, but she doesn't seem to mind at all.
"That's really nice of you, Dean. Are you feeling okay?"
I say, taunting him.
"Ha-ha. Shut up."
He says, walking towards the stairway.
Kenna and I laugh as we follow him.

Kenna's POV
Castiel was already sitting in the back of the car waiting for us.
It confused me how much he seemed like a lost puppy.
"Like an eagle amongst bluejays.."
I whispered to myself.
The quote seemed to fit him.
I climbed into the backseat and sat beside him.
I was immediately intrigued.
"I'm curious, Castiel. Why do you hang around humans so much? Why these humans in particular."
Sam and Dean pretended to take offense to my inquiry.
"I care for the Winchester's. The things they have sacrificed not just for me, but for the world makes them trustworthy. I'm committed to them as much as I was to heaven. Except I get to have an opinion. They're my family."
I nodded, noticing the smile spreading across the boys faces.
"It's so nice to finally hold an interesting and clever conversation with someone. What are your thoughts on the incest in Greek and Roman mythology-"
Dean was quick to shut me up.
"Alright. Both of you need to zip it. I did not wake up today to learn. I want my pie, and a side of silence."
Sam tried to hold back laughing.
"Neanderthals.."
Me and Cas murmured simultaneously.
