The Makeover
CHAPTER 15 (EDITED)I got rid of my glasses and they changed my hair. That's really all they did. They went shopping for me, so the clothes are different too. It wasn't like Extreme Makeover where I got a nose job or anything. – Clay Aiken
Rosalie Johnson
We arrived in front my house late at night. It wasn't ten yet, but it was close. I saw the curtains of the front my house shift and I knew that someone was waiting for me. I looked over to Christopher and he sighed as he put the car into park.
"Maybe we should watch a movie another night," he said as he eyed the time on the dashboard. I agreed with a nod of my head. I opened the door to let myself out, but he stopped me by gently placing a his hand on my arm.
"I'm sorry about tonight. I really am," he said with a slight pout to his lips. I smiled, but internally I was actually getting annoyed. All throughout the car ride, he kept apologizing. It was nice at first, but now ... now it was just getting on my nerves.
"It's okay," I said for the millionth time and Christopher nodded his head slowly. He leaned across his console and gave me a swift kiss on the lips that left me warm inside.
As he pulled back I gave him a playful smile, "I expect you to make up for this date, Mr. Davis," I said in a stern joking manner.
Christopher shook his head in amusement. "Of course, Miss. Johnson," he said as he leaned forward and kissed me again lightly on the my lips, "I already plan on doing so." I gave him a stern nod before I laughed.
"Excellent," I muttered and leaned forward to kiss him on the lips. It was a gentle kiss that made me smile as we did so because it was just that sweet. We pulled away from each other again and for a moment we just basked in each other's warmth. I looked into his eyes and they looked ven darker in the dimmed light's.
"I have to go," I whispered, "bye," I said and Christopher waved goodbye as I got of the car. I closed the door behind me, and walked up to the front porch. I turned to see Christopher wave one last time at me before he backed out of my driveway and into the night.
I pulled out my house keys and opened the door. As soon as I closed it, I leaned my head against the door as I tried to straighten my thought's. This day was dreadful and in all honesty quite tiring. I just wanted to go to sleep and pretend like nothing happened.
I pushed myself away from the door and walked to closet where I slipped off my shoes to throw them inside.
"Oh, Rosalie, you're home early," my dad said as he walked out of the kitchen and into the front hallway. He looked stressed and to be honest, he looked stressed when I saw him earlier.
"Yeah, uhm, we decided to postpone our date," I muttered and my father gave me a concerned look, but I ignored it as I went to go head up the stairs.
"Rosalie," my dad called and I turned to him reluctantly.
"Since you're home early were going to have a family meeting in five minutes. Go and get changed then come right down," he instructed and I sighed.
"Yeah, sure, dad," I said before turning back up the stairs and heading towards my room. I quickly changed out my clothes into a comfy pair of night clothes. It consisted of brown teddy bears and bow ties.
After I was done, I headed back down stairs and toward the family room, where I knew everyone would be waiting.
My brother, Dawn, sat on one couch looking bored as hell. I'm pretty sure we both wished we were somewhere else than here. My mother and father, however, sat on another couch looking extremely serious. As I took the last empty seat, my father stood up with a cough and a slight shift of his feet.
