"The future has a way of arriving unannounced."

- George Will

Jared hesitated at first, but when he returned his gaze to Jane, he saw the glimmer in her eyes, the excitement and the lust. He couldn't resist something that made her feel this way. He'd never seen her so... bright.

Finally grabbing his hand, they all descended off to Neverland, Peter flashing a smile at Jane. It was faux, of course. But as long as he kept up the act, she'd be head over heels for him soon enough.

Head turned to the stars, they flew higher and higher into the atmosphere, to the point where they were higher than the clouds. Headed towards a glimmering star, they lingered the sky, Jane turning to giggle at her brother. He flashed a half smile back at her, head a foggy mess of confusion and doubt. He still couldn't put his finger on how this was possible. And why he chose his sister.

It was only minutes after they had left the mainland that the 3 experienced a shift, a full blown slap in the face, all of the molecules and atoms in their body twisting and tangling.

The two closed their eyes, fear lingering every limb in their body. They'd thought they died, when suddenly a shimmer of light rose from up behind them. It was like a burning flame, blanketing them in warmth and serenity. Opening their eyes, they spotted an island not to far away, in a peculiar formation. Trees and mountains, ponds and caves all embedded onto the crowded island. Excitement writhed in them, as they flew closer and closer to the land. Peters grip on the two grew tighter as they began to land, ensuring they wouldn't fall.

As their feet met the soil, the sun had finally rose, Jane's smile scorching through the sky. The brightness of the planet illuminated the features on the girl's face, her technicolor eyes exploring the island, her teeth biting back her rosy bottom lip, hands perched behind her back.

"Gnarly." she breathed, as she felt Peter come up behind her. She closed her eyes, feeling his breath linger down her neck.

"Beautiful, isn't it?" he muttered, as she could feel his eyes brace her back, her gown revealing her collar bone and shoulders clearly.

She nodded against him, a half smile plastered on her lips.

"Truly."
