"If you want to keep a secret, you must also hide it from yourself."

- George Orwell

Jane's P.O.V~

I struggled and swore underneath the bag as the boy picked me up and carried me. We ought to have been walking for 30 minutes or so. You couldn't really tell in Neverland.

I begin to kick at him, but as I do so his grip grows tighter. That's when I feel a glimmer of light wrap around me, candlelight, like a flame silhouette dancing on the shade engulfed spots on my flesh.

I feel a tide of calm washing over me. But that only lasted seconds before I was dropped to the ground, my head hitting the soil with a thump. I feel the shadow of maybe 2 other boys linger over me, breathing on me, mumbling nonsense under their breath.

"Let me out you sociopath's." I kick, and rub my wrists together under the knot of rope that was tied around my wrists.

That was when I heard someone clear their throat, loud and dominant, their feet tapping against the harsh soil.

Peter.

My eyebrows furrow together, breaths becoming heavy and repulsed.

Was he behind this?

"What is this? Who do you have there?" he questioned, the sound of his steps nearing. She could feel the boys leaving, although one stayed, the one who had brought her here.

"A girl, Pan. I assumed she was one of Tiger Lily's. I found her in the tree house." He spoke.

Then there was a moment of silence. Tiger Lily's? Wasn't she a native to the island? That's at least what she heard in the stories. What did she have to do with this?

That was when Peter stepped before the boy, rising a fist, slamming it right dab in his nose, causing blood to pour from his features.

"You stupid twat. You can't just abduct a lady when you find one roaming the land. I brought her here." he spat, kneeling down, and pulling the rope from my neck, grabbing the sack from my head. Reaching for my hand, he pulls me up, as the other lost boy holds his hand to his face, his nose clearly broken.

3rd person P.O.V~

Jane's eyes open as she took in her surroundings. Lost boys, clothed in animal pelt stand around her in a circle, eyes wide, mouth ajar. Peter stands before her, holding her hand, concern clear on his face.

"I'm sorry for using such language around a lady." Peter hummed, blue eyes piercing hers. He was lying right through his teeth. They both seemed to ignore the boy with his hands to his face, too wrapped up in each other to notice.

"J-Jane?" A voice called from behind the two. Jane turned, eyes meeting her brothers as her hand falls to her side.

"Jared!" She purred, moving to him, hugging him. He looked different. He looked like one of them now. How could she have gone so long with out seeing her brother?

Confusion pressing at both of their faces. All of their faces, in fact.

Peter had some explaining to do.
