Why I Quit

I don't know how many people will see this. And of the people who see it, I don't know how many might care. But for the minority that does, I suppose I should give an explanation.

999,999. That was my number. Where I subscribed. The number before 1,000,000. Mark inspired me. Part of the reason I realized my dream to be a comedian was him naturally, I decided to give to the community. After a long while, I started this. It was a labor of love. It was part of me. I still cherish the memories it holds.

My only other dream, aside from comedy, is being an author. And this fanfic, stupid as it is, was what sparked that interest. I was infatuated. It was my passion.

Time passed and Mark started getting more fans. More and more and more. After a while, I started to wonder if I matter anymore. Back at one mil, even two and three, I was still important. I felt so anyway. But after four and five and six passed, and just kept getting bigger, I felt obsolete. With more people, surely there would be countless others more talented in writing than I.

I branched out. Wanted to go my own way. I posted here about all my books I was starting, but no one checked them out. So I stopped.

And chapters came less and less frequently.

And then I stopped writing altogether.

I recently started watching Markiplier again. I took such a long break, over a year, just because I didn't feel like it mattered if I did or not. But I'm finally back to letting myself enjoy things.

Nevertheless, I still will not be writing this anymore. I wish I could. I wish people could support my writing, but this isn't me. The books I make with my mind are me, not the chapters I crank out for other people.

Another setback is that I've realized I don't like men. I can't manage to write a fanfiction properly about Mark because I simply am not attracted to him. It's hard to write if you don't know what you're writing about.

So that's it. That's why I stopped writing. I felt obsolete, I was too scared, and I'm lesbian.

Have a good day and do something nice for someone you don't know. :)
