Gaara's p.o.v.
I couldn't believe Kankuro! TELLING ME HE LIKES MY GIRLFRIEND!?! I'm beyond furious at this point. I just want to feel him struggle for breath underneath my hands! I can't believe him he is the actual scum of the world.
"Gaara?" It was (Y/n).
"Hey...." I whispered and hugged her. My body was tense. She noticed this.
"Why are you so tense?" She said giving me a quick peck on the cheek.
"Uh it's nothing trust me."
"It has to be something if you're so tense." She said. I couldn't lie to her. She would only hate me.
"It's Kankuro,"
"What did he do now?" She said.
"He uh, He told me that he uh likes you. More than he should." I said softly. Her cheeks turned pink. Does she like him? If she does, I can't stop them from being together.
"Oh. Why'd he tell you? You're my boyfriend is he mental?" She asked herself.
"Do you like him?" I asked quietly.
"What?"
"Do you like him? If you do, you can be with him." I said. "I wouldn't stop you. I can't help you love me if you don't. It's okay though. You deserve to be happy."
"Gaa-"
"I don't deserve you. I'm a monster. Monsters can't love. I kne-"
"Gaara! I love you! I don't like him. You're the one for me. You're not a monster. And even if you were you deserve happiness more than the people who have it. You deserve everything the world has to offer. Gaara, I can't give you much but I'll try my hardest to give you what I have." She said to me. I hugged her. Tears threatened to spill from my eyes. And they did. I couldn't stop. She hugged me harder. She shushed me and told me everything is okay, that I would be safe. She made me so weak. I hated it.
(Y/n)'s p.o.v.
He was crying. I made him vulnerable. He must hate it. I don't blame him. I hugged him harder. I felt a raindrop hit my head. It was starting to rain. It made everything sadder.
"Gaara, do you wanna go to my favorite spot?" I asked. He pulled away from me and tears were going down his cheeks. He nodded his head yes.
"(Y/n)," He whispered. "You make me weak. I-I haven't been like this in awhile. Not since....Not since you broke up with me."
"I'm sorry." I said and hugged him. He hugged back and took mt hand.
"Now where is that favorite spot of yours?" He asked. It started raining harder. The rain was coming down like a waterfall. I couldn't help but smile. The clouds seemed to be darker than my worst thoughts. I started walking with him. We walked into the forest. I looked around for awhile and soon found the tree.
"Here it is." I smiled.
"Your favorite spot is a tree?" He asked.
"Yes. Do you remember this spot?"
