(Y/n)'s P.o.v.
I was sitting with Sakura and Naruto, waiting for some trio from the sand village to come and hang with us.
"So who are these people exactly?" I asked. It wasn't long after Gaara left and I met Sakura, Sasuke and Naruto. They were my friends. My only friends. I was happy. They stuck up for me and they were there for me through my ups and downs and I was there for them.
"Well there is Gaara, Kankuro and Temari." Naruto replied smiling. I smiled back.
"Wait, Gaara? Like Gaara red hair, gourd full of sand Gaara?" I asked. It couldn't be that Gaara could it?
"Yeah that's the one!" Sakura said before Naruto had the chance to open his mouth. "Why? Do you know him?" She asked.
"I'm not sure." I replied. I heard a collection of voices, the voices I assumed belonged to Gaara, Temari, and Kankuro. I looked up smiling, but my smiled turned into a frown as I saw Gaara. The Gaara I dated not so many years before. I one I loved, still love. I looked away after he noticed my staring. Temari the girl next to him smirked as she noticed my embarassment and Kankuro just laughed. While Gaara's beautiful face was emotionless. I swear, for second my heart stopped.
"(Y/n), Earth to (Y/n)!" I look up a bit to see Naruto standing in front of me poking my shoulder. I grab his hand.
"Naruto, What do you need or want?" I ask with a fake smile.
"Oh uh sorry, I was just introducing you to them." He laughed. I smiled a real smile, his laugh and smile was contagious. Like a sickness.
"Oh of course! I'm (Y/n). It's very nice to meet you." I say still smiling. I look up to see Gaara's Teal eyes looking at me. They were so beautiful. I felt my cheeks heat up.
"Well Im Kankuro, this here is Temari and the one that looks dead inside is Gaara, but you know that already don't you, (Y/n)?" He said.
"Enough Kankuro." Gaara said. His voice was deeper, demanding too. Kankuro looked at Gaara. While Temari just laughed.
" So Sakura, Naruto shall we leave?" I asked, waiting for an answer, we were gonna hang with Gaara and his group at the lake.
" Yeah sure." Naruto responded and we all got up to walk to the river. I walked with Sakura Talking about boys I guess.
"So (Y/n) who do you like? " Sakura asked a smile creeping on her face.
"Well there is this childhood boyfriend I guess you can say. Wasn't really a childhood boyfriend. We were 14." I said
"Tell me more!" She said.
"Well he was very Mysterious, He was like me. Alot of similarities and differences. I broke up with him, The day after we got together. I was stupid. I told him, that I would be an unwanted weight on his shoulders and that was the last I seen of him until now. I still like him though." I said, mumbling the last part.
"What's his name?" She asked
"I don't remember it's been a few years." I lied. I heard chuckling behind me. I was starting to get frustrated with Kankuro. It wasn't funny. I heard the chuckling continue and that was my last straw.
"What is so damn funny Kankuro? Is my pain, my feeling's that amusing that YOU of all people need to laugh at?" I yelled, glaring at Kankuro.
"Well if your done, let's just say no one wants to hear your pity story." Kankuro replied.
