Chapter 8: Choco, At Your Service

[Rob's POV]

Nothing. That's all I see.

I can hear.... something....

Voices.....

They seem.... worried?....

About.... me?

I slowly blink open my eyes, letting them adjust to the light. My friends Jerome, Kenny, and Choco are standing near me (in their hybrid forms, not their animal forms).

I'm laying in my bed in my house. The guys are quietly talking, none of them realizing that I was awake. I decided to wait until one of them noticed me.

Kenny turns to look at me, his eyes wide. "Rob!" He comes over and hugs me gently. Choco and Jerome run up to me as well, also hugging me gently.

"Hey guys..." I say, my voice slightly quiet and raspy.

"You have no idea how glad I am that you're okay...." Jerome says, still hugging me. I smile at him, and he carefully releases me from the hug.

"So... how did I..... get here?" I ask slowly. My throat was also really sore, which was probably why my voice was so raspy and quiet.

"You passed out in Jerome's arms- well, paws, considering you were both in your wolf forms. He watched over you while me and Kenny brought everyone back who had left." Choco explains. He motions for Kenny to speak, which I assume is so that he can explain more.

"We all agreed that it would be easier to treat your wounds at your house rather than in our territory, but we treated a little bit of some of the wounds as best as we could while we were there." Kenny finishes explaining.

I noticed that I didn't have a shirt on, and bandages were wrapped around my chest. There were also bandages wrapped around part of my arms, and I could feel some bandages on my legs as well.

"Thank you.... a-all of you." I say, my throat still extremely sore.

They all smile at me. I smile back.

"So... w-when can I get out of bed?" I ask.

Choco shakes his head. "Not anytime soon, that's for sure. Probably a week from today, if you're lucky and decide to cooperate. You need your injuries to heal, Rob."

I sigh dramatically. "B-But daaaaaad~" I whine, forgetting about my sore throat for the moment.

Choco laughs. "Nope, you're not getting out of this one Robby. Lucky for you however, I'm going to be the one taking care of you." He smiles.

"Well, I guess we've got to go then." Kenny says, looking at Jerome. Jerome nods. Kenny glances at Choco for a moment. He blushes lightly, turning away. I smirk slightly as I watch, but then quickly loose my smirk.

"I'll try to come over when I can. Bye Rob, bye Choco!" Jerome says, leaving. Kenny waves, and Choco blushes a bit, waving back. Soon, it's just me and Choco in the house.

"S-sooooo, Kenny, ey?~" I ask Choco, wiggling my eyebrows with a smirk on my face. Choco blushes.

"S-Shut up!" He says, turning away to hide his blush. I laugh.

"C-Choco, I know you like him." I say to him.

He turns to look at me. "Is it really that obvious?" He asks, sighing.

I nod. "V-Very."

"Apparently not obvious enough for Kenny to notice though." He says, sighing.

"M-Maybe he does notice, but hasn't pointed it out. Have faith Choco." I say. He smiles.

"Okay, I will Rob. Anyways....~" A playful smile is on Choco's face.

"I wonder what he's thinking...." I think to myself.

"Oh my gracious Flower King, how shall I serve thee today?" Choco asks, bowing. I laugh.

"O-Oh Sir Choco, might you be so kind and get me some food?" I ask him, smiling.

He nods. "I am at your service, M'Lord." He smiles playfully at me before leaving the room.

I laugh. "Staying in bed might not be so bad...."

Yay, another update!

Sorry I haven't updated this book a lot, I've been really busy this summer.

Anyways, it's like 3:40AM right now and I'm bored, so here's this chapter XD
