Chapter 12: Visiting

[Rob's POV]

"Finally, it feels so good to be out of bed!" I say, stretching in my hybrid form. I was finally allowed to leave my bed.

Choco- who is also in his hybrid form- laughs. "Let's just hope you don't get injured again." Choco says, his voice serious.

I roll my eyes. "Please, don't remind me that this is normal for me."

"Well, you just reminded yourself."

I laugh. "Whatever Choco. Anyways, you still gonna stay over, or are you gonna go back to your place?"

Choco shrugs. "I think I'll stay here for a few more days... just in case, y'know?" I nod, understanding what he means. Just because I've healed up enough to get out of bed, doesn't mean I'm not still injured.

Suddenly, I hear my phone buzz. Picking it up from my nightstand, I check it.

Purston <3

I open my messages, reading the one from Preston.

Purston <3: Hey, Robby?

I text back a reply.

Rob: Yeah Purston?

Purston <3: Can I come visit u plz? I miss seeing u in person

I turn to look at Choco. "Can Preston come over?"

Choco pauses to think before replying. "Sure, but we have to be careful that he doesn't know we're hybrids, okay?"

I nod. "Okay mom." I say, making Choco laugh. I then text Preston back.

Rob: Sure! Choco is over atm too.

Purston <3: K, be over in about 10 min. <3

Rob: M'kay, see 'ya. <3

Choco looks over my shoulder at our messages. "Awww, you two are so cute together! I'm surprised he hasn't asked you out yet or something."

I sigh. "You know why I can't ask him, right?...."

"Yeah, I know, but I can still dream!"

I laugh. "Alright, whatever you say Choco." I remember that Preston was coming over, so I hide my hybrid features by turning into my human form. Choco, seeing me do it, switches to his human form as well.

~Time Skip~

Choco and I were sitting on the couch, watching TV when the doorbell rings.

"I'll get it." I say, getting up from the couch and walking over to the door. I open it, immediately being brought into a hug by Preston.

"Robby! I missed you so much!" Preston says, hugging me. I laugh, hugging him back.

"I missed you too Purston." I say to him, smiling.

"What, do I get no love?" Choco says jokingly, having closed the front door for me, seeing as I was being hugged by Preston. Preston lets go of me to bring Choco into the hug, making it a group hug.

"I missed you both so much!" Preston says, hugging us tightly.

"Preston, you're squeezing me." I say. Preston lets go, rubbing his neck sheepishly.

"Sorry! I'm just really happy to see you both." Preston says, smiling sheepishly.

"It's alright." Choco says.

"Sooo, let's catch up on stuff!" Preston says, sitting on the couch. Choco and I sit next to him, and we begin talking.

~Time Skip~

My phone buzzes in the middle of a conversation. "One sec guys." I excuse myself, getting up and going into the kitchen.

Fluffy: Robbbb we have a problem

Rob: Seriously? Now isn't the time! Choco and Preston are over atm

Fluffy: Wellllll I'm gonna need you and Choco

Rob: What if Preston gets suspicious and follows us?!

Fluffy: Stop worrying! Just tell him some family issues came up or something, idk

Rob: He's not stupid, he'll know somethings up.

Fluffy: this is SOOO bad

Rob: 'Ya think?!

Fluffy: Jeez Rob, calm down. Take deep breaths or something.

Rob: I AM AND IT'S NOT WORKING! THIS IS 100% BAD JEROME, DO YOU NOT UNDERSTAND THE CIRCUMSTANCES?!

Fluffy: I do, trust me. Calm down, I'm sure you'll figure something out, but preferably.... now. I'll see you there when you figure something out.

I sigh. 'Dammit Jerome! Well, I suppose this is what I signed up for. Now, to figure out how I'm gonna go through with this...'

Yay for new chapters! I finally figured out how I want to do this (sort of)... although this book might be short chapter-wise.... yeahhhhhh.
