Chapter 21: Weird Occurances (Part 1)

[Rob's POV]

Preston and I were just quietly chilling in my room in our hybrid forms, when Preston decides to break the silence.

"H-Hey... Robby? I-Is it just me, or is it really w-warm in here?"

I shook my head. "Probably just you. You're the one with a hoodie on." Preston nods, taking his hoodie off. A worried look washed over my face for Preston. Lately, he's been telling me he's been having these "hot flashes," in which he'll suddenly become very warm without reasoning, and lately they've been happening more frequently. However, he doesn't appear to have a fever or anything, which is strange.

"I can get you some iced tea if you'd like?" I offer. Preston nods with a smile, so I get up and head to the kitchen. Grabbing a cup out of the cabinet, I open the fridge and grab the iced tea bottle, pouring it into the cup. I place the bottle back into the fridge and go back to my room, the cup of iced tea in hand.

I walk back into my room, seeing Preston still sitting on the bed, except now he doesn't have socks on. I hand him the iced tea.

"T-Thanks Robbie." Preston thanks me, giving me a peck on the cheek. He begins to sip on the iced tea.

"You're welcome Purston." I smile at him. Preston pauses for a moment to look at me, holding the cup of iced tea in his hands.

"W-What's happening to me, R-Robbie?..." Preston questions, a look of fear in his eyes. I give him an unsure look.

"I'm not sure, Preston. Whatever it is though, it doesn't seem to be dangerous, which is good. Maybe we can ask Rose about it later?" I offer. Preston nods.

"A-Alright..." Preston says, going back to sipping on the iced tea.

Lmao, anyways, yep! I'm back, I'm alive! I finally found some motivation to update, and hopefully y'all aren't too upset with me for taking so long.
